As a director sometimes you get to bring out your friends who just also happen to bring talent, enthusiasm, and creativity to the table and elevate your project to it’s maximum possible level.

#Runner - what an experience. One of the most collaborative films I’ve had the privilege of being a part of and without a doubt, some of the most fun I’ve had on set.

A massive shoutout to everyone who gave me the opportunity to play Greedy. I’m truly grateful. Grab your popcorn and go check it out 🍿

RUNNER is out now. Might even be #1 action movie in America 🤷‍♂️ This one’s a special one for me, shooting in my hometown, 1st time working with my old man who started this whole journey, seeing old friends/mentors and working with a very talented Stunt Team. Gotta thank @ryantarran and @timcody79 for bringing me home and leading the charge. @shahaub and @remibakkar smashing the fights with style and grace. @hardlydangerous killing the rigging, Toby Fuller taking care of business and was an honour working with Director/ex stuntman Scott Waugh. YES it was embarrassing standing next to @alanritchson with my chicken arms 🤣

10LBS DOWN. ON A DEADLINE. FOR THE CAMERA. 🔥

Ryan didn’t have the luxury of “someday.” He had a role to double for and a body that needed to be screen ready on a timeline he didn’t choose.

That’s the difference between training for stunts and training for everything else. No slow build. No “whenever I feel like it.” The work has to show up on schedule, because the job doesn’t wait for you to be ready.

When we started, @handleystunts already had a foundation. He wasn’t a beginner walking in off the street. So the goal was never to throw him into some random fat loss program and hope his skills held up. We built on what he already had.

We dialled in lean protein and whole foods so he could stay in a deficit without his output dropping. 🍽️

We restructured his training around the movement patterns and power he actually needs on set, so the program sharpened his performance while it stripped the fat, instead of the two working against each other. 🏋️‍♂️

And every single day, Ryan showed up mentally and physically, because in this industry there’s no version of the job where you show up unprepared. ✅💪🏻

The result wasn’t just a smaller number on the scale. He got leaner and stayed sharp, strong, and camera ready for the job in front of him.

Proud doesn’t cover it.

I’m currently looking for two stunt performers or actors who need to get camera ready without losing the performance they’ve already built.

If that’s you, comment “BUILT” below 👇🏻 and I’ll send you the details.
