Visted our friends at The Victorian last night and was pleased to get to try the @elijahcraig 15 year, the Bourbon Crisp cocktail with @penelopebourbon Marshmallow Toast bourbon and their version of a muffaletta sandwich. If you haven't been, you need to go visit.

Have you ever tried a beer BEFORE it was ready to be released?

Last month the BCBC got together at @newbaronsbrewcoop to learn more about their incubator program and @nosey_neighbor_brewing had a honey Kolsch in the tank that was just about a week away from being ready to be kegged and distributed. So they let us taste it! I'm a sucker for 🍯 beers so if you find/found this one around, highly recommend.

Then we popped over to @componentbeer and tried their IPA Fest beer days before the competition (which many of us also attended) - Nelson Overflow & I got a flight that included two styles that in July I usually avoid: a barleywine and a pumpkin beer. I cannot honestly weigh in on the IPA because those aren't my thing but it was actually alright drinking the others, though I'm sure they'd be more enjoyable in cooler weather.

Had lunch at @brasstapgreenfield with Boom Boom shrimp a Korean inspired fried chicken sandwich. This was a tasty meal!! Been too long since I've been here.

Had such a great time at IPA Fest. Yes it was wet but seeing so many friends and making new ones is always a treat. Can't wait for next year!

A couple of weeks ago, our buddy @beerloversofwi (aka @hangingwithbill) joined us at Bikes, Bourbon & Barbecue at Davidson Park, and this new event did not disappoint. 🥃🔥🏍️

We sampled some incredible barbecue from a variety of local vendors, enjoyed three delicious bourbon pours from @thecentralstandard, and checked out an awesome lineup of motorcycles throughout the park.

It was a perfect way to spend a summer day, with great food, great bourbon, and a fun atmosphere. Hopefully this event is back again next year!

It was another great year at the Milwaukee Brew & Spirits Fest. We always have such a fun time reconnecting with familiar faces, spending time with good friends, and also making connections with others in the industry. While we remain a very small producer in the craft brewing world, we continue to build connections and community…and for that we are extremely grateful! Cheers to you, Milwaukee! 🍻
