Did you know that according to the American Occupational Therapy Association, sex is officially considered an Activity of Daily Living (ADL)? (And you get to define what “sex” means for you.)

ADLs are the meaningful occupations that shape our quality of life. And your pelvic floor and your sensory system are deeply connected to your relationships, your communication, your social-emotional health, all of it. So when we give ourselves permission to participate in this area in ways that feel safe, empowered, and aligned, it can profoundly improve overall wellbeing.
