Surge,
what an amazing 3 years it has been with the best program! this is all i could’ve asked for and more in my high school dance career and i will forever cherish the memories ive made and the people ive been surrounded by!

thank you to my coaches who made this all happen and believed in me from the start. @kristinedalmas @tori.gee @savvykae @kloealmanza @heidiatwoodwilson @cierra_storm @amajhaireedd you have truly helped make me the person and dancer that i am today and i could never thank you enough for your amazing mentorship. even through the tough morning and evening practices, the hard conversations, and the many celebrations we’ve had, you’ve been there for me every step of the way.

thank you to my family, my built in support system and the people who are there for me forever and always. @mandee611 @lucia.vazq you guys mean the absolute world to me and i thank you for coming to support me at literally everything. thank you mom for everything you have done for me, i’m so blessed to have such and incredible person i can look up to.

to my surge girls, i love you guys so so much and you guys mean so much to me. to my alumni, i miss you and thank you for helping me shape the person i am today as well. take everything all in girls, it truly does go by so fast and these memories you will make will stick with you forever, please cherish them with all your heart! i’m so blessed to be on a team with such kind humans and talented dancers and i’m grateful ful i got to lead you all this past year, i hope ive made even a small impact. this isn’t farewell, but see you later, im always one text away :)

my surge chapter has come to a close, it truly doesn’t feel real yet that it’s finally over. i’m so grateful to be a part of something so specially made and will never forget my times with the storm. i’ve made so many incredible memories, long lasting friendships, and grown in maturity, leadership, and kindness just from being around the best group of girls. i love this team, GO SURGE!!

Dear Surge,

Thank you for the last 3 years. It has been some of the best years I’ve had yet. Thank you to everyone who has made this journey worth it. Thank you @kristinedalmas @tori.gee @savvykae @heidiatwoodwilson @cierra_storm @amajhaireedd @kloealmanza and @owyheedance for pouring into me. Thank you for all of the early mornings, late nights, long practices, and meaningful conversations that have shaped me into the athlete and human I am today.

It doesn’t feel real that my time on Surge has come to an end, but to anyone wondering if you should join your high school dance team, this is your sign. It’s so worth it. You get deep and lasting friendships that feel more like sisterhood. You get to be an athlete and a performer for your school, and you just get to experience all of the highs and lows it has to offer. I am so grateful for this journey and what it had to offer. I’m leaving with so many amazing memories that will be with me forever.

To my girls on Surge, I love you guys more than you know. Each and every one of you have brought joy to my life. I’ve loved seeing and being with you guys every day, dancing with you and getting to know you better. Every moment was special and we have worked so hard. I am so proud of us and everything we have accomplished. We have made history and you will continue to amaze the people around you in these years to come.

To my amazing and supportive parents, I don’t have words to describe the amount of love and gratitude I have for you. @byoung_actual and @_amber_young thank you for every single sacrifice you have made for me to do what I love. Thank you @lily.young.01 for being at practice every morning, playing the music, waking me up if my alarm didn’t go off, and just being so incredibly supportive. Thank you Garrett for going to every competition and having a great attitude. You all are amazing and I don’t know what I’m going to do being away at college.
