White coat✅ 2/3 of the way done with PT school man does time fly! I cannot thank God enough for blessing me with such a wonderful cohort, professors, and education! This experience has given me so much and I am so thankful for all the friends I have gained along the way. Here is to the next part of this adventure! Time for the clinic…

It’s been awhile since my last post, so here are some things from the past year.

I started competing as a powerlifter which has been great. I was even was fortunate enough to coach a great group at USAPL Collegiate Nationals in New Orleans with @jmliftz__ .

This summer I had the great opportunity to be an intern with the UGA Football Strength & Conditioning staff. Through this internship, I was able to learn from the fantastic coaches they have, and it led me to my next step in my career. As the summer was wrapping up, I was offered a position as a paid intern with the UGA Olympic Strength & Conditioning staff. I also have to thank all my fellow interns for making the summer the best it could be @logan_hickman @jpainter_19 @karleygotlin @colebrincks @brandon_morgan11 @mphicks0615 @tonestrength_ @firstname_yates @big_mank55 @k.akhr_04 @brynntopolski @carson.hendrix15 @jwuenschj @caeden_callahan.

Most importantly, I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without the love and support from @audreyparrott. It’s not easy being in a long distance relationship for years at a time as both of us were going through grad school. She’s been amazing through it all, and I can’t ever thank her enough.

Most people stop training when the sport ends.

Nah. Not Us.

We strive to beat our athletes that are half our age.

We set the bar.

That’s why we built The Tri Star Triple Crown.

📅 July 18 x @kptfunfest .

🏟️ AthleteHQ in downtown KPT

📊 Six events. One score. @hawkindynamics verified tech. The most complete athlete in the Tri-Cities gets crowned.

This isn’t a fitness competition. It isn’t Hyrox or The CrossFit Open.

It’s athleticism.

Chase the Crown. 👑

The best attempts only tell part of the story.

Every lift on this platform is built on early mornings, long weeks, and staying consistent when no one’s watching. What you don’t see is the setbacks, the adjustments, and the discipline to keep going.

Collegiate Nationals debuts were made and new PRs set. Proud of how this team showed up at USAPL Collegiate Nationals. This is what it takes, and we’re just getting started.

Shoutout to the coaches/handlers who made this possible.

Huge thank you to ETSU Powerlifting for having us out to lead a workshop on back and hip injuries 🙌

We loved getting to connect, share knowledge, and help athletes better understand how to stay strong, move well, and keep doing what they love. 🔥

Grateful for the opportunity and excited for more collaborations ahead 💪
