Say no more, today was absolutely electric. The energy, the people, the vibe. None of it would’ve been possible for me without @jacquelinemcderm
I truly wouldn’t be here @posthousehamptons without you. Happy birthday to the best boss babe, biggest supporter and all-around amazing human. Your people love you!🤍

week 7 !!! started the week off like I always do, going to the bread shed as the sun rises!! this week I made smoked mackerel paté, brioche a tête, brioche with frangipane and toasted almonds, a mediterranean aubrigine salad with sun dried tomato and olive tapenade, vietnamese spring rolls with a chili dipping sauce, poached monk fish, a normandy rhubarb tart, more sourdough, gruyère and parm soufflee (that I wasn’t quick enough to get a pic of before it deflated lol), fresh pasta, homemade vanilla ice cream, and my favorite of all, steak!! <3 went to kinsale this weekend with hannah and had the best meal @stfranciskinsale !! we watched the irish vs england rugby game in a pub before, and then ended the week with a walk at ballymaloe house with issy and gracie :-)

week 5 @ballymaloecookeryschool !! this week was so busy so I barely any pictures of food, but this week I made a chocolate soufflé, jerusalem artichoke soup with chorizo, brioche buns and challah bread, and finally a sourdough love I’m actually proud of!! I had to break down a shoulder of lamb and turn it into a tagine with preserved lemon, and I also learned how fillet a flat fish and turned it into sole à la meniure 🐠 went on my weekly walk to see the pigs and had a colin the caterpillar cutting as a mid week pick me up ☺️

1.9.26 🤍✨Once upon a time at Ballymaloe…I cannot believe the first week is complete 🤍 I named my sourdough starter, Badri, in honor of my grandmother, who I miss so deeply. I feel her watching over me and know that she’s the reason this experience has come into my life at exactly this moment. She loved cooking, always made the best Persian food, was so kind and patient, so caring, so gentle, and I always looked up to her. She was so special. I love you so much Momony. THANK YOU!!! Made lots of juice, met some really cool people who like to drink juice, and drank lots juice (quite literally tasted every batch). 10 retail partners, 2 farmers markets, a few events, and nearly 10,000 bottles made this year. 🧃

See you in April! 👋
