✨ A Sacred Evening of Kirtan with Raas Leela Kirtana ✨

We are delighted to welcome a new voice—and a beautiful ensemble of devotional musicians—to the Pleasure Point Kirtan community. 🤍

On Friday, November 20th, join us for an immersive evening of sacred sound, devotion, meditation, and connection with Raas Leela Kirtana, an LA-based devotional music ensemble rooted in the Bhakti Yoga tradition.

Imagine harmonium, tabla, handpan, percussion, voices, ancient mantras, and contemporary musical arrangements coming together in one shared experience.

But this isn’t a concert where you simply sit and listen.

You are part of the music.

Through the practice of Sankirtan—the collective singing of sacred names and mantras—we move from listening to participating, from individual experience to community, and from the thinking mind toward the open heart.

Whether you have been singing kirtan for years or have never chanted a mantra before, you are welcome here.

Come sing.
Come listen.
Come meditate.
Come simply be.

Raas Leela Kirtana brings together:
🎶 Gopala Bhakta — Harmonium & Vocals
🎶 Bob Baba Bhole — Vocals & Percussion
🎶 Athena Starseed — Vocals & Percussion
🎶 Sidd — Tabla & Handpan
🎶 Joss Jaffe — Tabla

Together, they create what they describe as Cosmic Spiritual Music—an uplifting and heart-centered experience where sacred sound becomes a pathway to connection, devotion, and joy.

As Paramahansa Yogananda beautifully expressed:

“Music that is saturated with soul force is the real universal music, understandable by all hearts.”

✨ Friday, November 20
🕢 7:30–9:00 PM
📍 Pleasure Point Yoga | 3707 Portola Drive

🎟️ $20 Early Bird through November 6
🎟️ $25 Advance November 7–19
🎟️ $35 at the door
🤍 No one turned away for lack of funds

Come gather in sacred sound. Come experience the power of singing together.

🎶 Come experience the medicine of sacred sound. Your voice belongs here. We can’t wait to sing with you. 🤍

🧘‍♀️ Happy 10-Year Anniversary to Yoga For All Movement (YFAM)! 🎉❤️

I can hardly believe I’ve been following the incredible Hannah Muse and her teachings for TEN years now! What an amazing human she is and what a gift she continues to be to our community. 💕

Celebrating 10 years of YFAM with yoga in downtown Santa Cruz was such a treat! Even better was reconnecting with some wonderful people I’ve lost touch with over the years. 🥰

But what really makes this special is celebrating what YFAM stands for — making yoga, movement, connection, and wellness accessible to ALL. That’s what community is all about!

Congratulations, Hannah and the entire YFAM family, on a decade of making a difference! 🙏

❤️ Please take a moment to visit their website, learn about their mission, and consider making a donation to support the incredible work they do in our community. Every bit helps keep this beautiful movement going!

It's YFAM's 10th birthday....10 years of this incredible non profit organization serving the Santa Cruz County community with accessible, trauma informed yoga & meditation practices! For over three years I've had the pleasure of teaching for Yoga For All Movement in middle and high school alternative education classes as well as residential & community mental health spaces. Being able to share yoga, meditation and sound healing, supporting young people and adults to cultivate more presence, slow down and breathe mindfully, and meet themselves wherever they are ~ body, heart mind, emotions~ with compassion is such an honor and a gift! I love witnessing how we can all come together through these incredible healing practices and turn towards inner awareness where we find the space to listen more deeply, and strengthen our relationship to honouring what the body needs, be it stillness, rest, movement in each present moment. Yoga is powerful and far reaching~ for our selves, our families and relationships..with the environment, animals, communities, and the wider scope within our nations & worldwide...a path towards social justice, equity, universal compassion, care, love, and peace. Last year YFAM served over 6,000 students and the numbers are growing! Shoutout to our devoted ED Katie Davidson! We have over 30 teachers offering 26 trauma informed classes every week in schools, foster youth programs, senior centers, mental health support centers & more!! That's something to celebrate!! Come join us downtown Santa Cruz tomorrow Saturday 10/10/26 to practice asana with amazing teachers & our board president & beautiful yoga teacher & mentor Hannah Muse, chant with Bryn's heart led Kirtan, sing & dance with DJ Drez & Marti Nikko, chill in the zen tent & share the beautiful energy all day! And I'll be guiding a sweet sound bath at 12:15 with my dear friends Lola and Justin...bring your friends! It's free and all are welcome! Come as you are. All the info in the slides! Oh! And please visit our website to donate to our fundraiser to help us keep it all going & grow our meaningful impact! Sending heaps of love! May all beings be happy, free, and safe. Thank you 🙏💕🪷

Sometimes, I write poetry. 🎨🧘‍♀️🧚‍♀️

Inspired by the most beautiful grounding meditation with @hannah.j.muse, my first time joining her Shelter in the Heart. ❤️

You & I: Mountain, Ocean, Sky

Body like the mountain.
Grounded. Steady. Here.

Where does the earth end and the mountain begin?
Where does my body end and the earth begin?

A reminder that we are not separate.
That we are all here together,
moving through this wild, beautiful world.

The mountain changes with the seasons,
but remains the mountain.
Grounded beneath it all,
even as the surface changes.

Breath like the ocean.
Always moving in, always moving out.
Expanding. Contracting.
Never needing to stay the same.

I am the mountain. I am the ocean.
Steady but flowing. Rooted but free.

And my heart, my mind, like the sky.

Open. Spacious. Infinite.

Clouds may pass. Storms may come.
The weather may change completely,
but the sky remains.

Grounded, yet fluid.
Steady, yet willing to change.
Open and spacious enough to receive it all,

and spacious enough
to let love move through me,
both given and received.

You and I. Mountain. Ocean. Sky.

All of it, already here.
This is you. This is me. Have you forgotten?
It’s okay. Now is the time to remember.
And you may forget again.

And yet again you can remember.

graduated from awake heart 300 with @hannah.j.muse last weekend. 💗🌸 celebrating 300 hours of yoga, chanting, meditation, philosophy, crying, laughing, playing, questioning everything, remembering everything, becoming more myself ❤️‍🔥

so grateful for this practice, these teachers, their teachers, their teacher’s teachers, this wonderful awake heart sangha, this mountain, and every version of me that got me here.

and ALSO extra grateful to the way this beautiful community of humans literally and emotionally held me after a knee injury with 2 days left of training 🥲🫶 thank you for teaching me that help and love are all around us.

there were so many beautiful moments I couldn’t possibly limit it to fewer than 20 photos and probably have a video compilation coming too 🤣😇❤️

i had the most wonderful transformational experience I will be integrating for a while. thank you to my incredible teacher and mentor, hannah-mā, thank you to my kalyāṇamitras, my new spiritual friends for life, thank you to everyone and everything.

what a reminder that the greatest teacher is within and the path is worth it 🫶
