She took pieces of her mother’s wedding dress and made it her own. 🤍

Reimagining her mother’s dress with her own style, personality, and touch — keeping the same timeless beauty and feeling, while creating something uniquely hers.

A beautiful reminder that some beautiful stories don’t end. They’re carried forward, into a new chapter, for a new beautiful story. ✨

Ask us about a really good night and we’ll remember who we were with, what we wore, the song we screamed when it came on, and probably something that should’ve stayed in the group chat. What we rarely remember is everything happening around us that made the night feel the way it did.

The walls, the light moving across the room, the colors changing with the music. They might not be what we talk about the next morning, but remove them and suddenly the same night feels completely different.

That’s the part @hannah.patten gets us to pay attention to. Her work can completely shift a space without changing anything physical about it, building a visual layer around whatever is already happening until a venue we might have walked into before feels unfamiliar. And because she works live, that layer isn’t something she can completely decide beforehand. She has to read a room while everyone else is busy enjoying it, knowing when the visuals should take over and when they should quietly become part of everything else.

Which made us think about how much skill goes into the parts of an experience we almost never stop to credit. We notice when a room feels incredible, but not always who made it feel that way. We remember the atmosphere without thinking about who was helping create it.

And Hannah does all of that for something that, by the next morning, no longer exists in quite the same way. The people leave, the music stops, the visuals disappear, and the room becomes a room again.

We spend so much time thinking art has to be something we can keep that we forget how much of it lives in experiences instead. Hannah might only have the room for one night, but for that night, she gets to change how everyone inside it remembers being there.

Signed, Person 2.

LIKE A FAIRYTALE 🌿
.
It's all in the beautiful details that made us feel like we have stepped inside a lucid dream 🌌
.
Zesty fruit displays, vibrant floral arrangements, jaw - dropping dessert bars, branded sail boats, customised pins, and ravishing party favours all spinned countless heads in that ceremony 🌻
.
Here's to gorgeous Nour, charming Aly and one of the most beautiful weddings we have ever managed at the utterly magical "Dahab Island Palace" 🏰🌴🌊🎆

And here's a shoutout to our truly talented partners, "Rustique Events" & "Velvet Heaven," for their dreamy designs and flawless executions 🍊
