A little Wisteria before Arthur… and what a fabulous afternoon it was!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for bubbles, beautiful furniture and wonderful company in our new Bowen Hills showroom. We loved welcoming so many familiar and new faces, sharing our collections and celebrating this exciting new chapter with our design community.

Made all the more special with beautiful original artworks by @sophiamadeleineart and @feauina_eves, bringing an extra splash of colour and creativity to our showroom.

A statement piece isn't about the subject or the colour, it's about the contrast it creates 🖼️

A dark, moody piece against a light wall does more for a room than ten pieces that "match." It's the tension between the art and the space around it that makes a room feel considered rather than coordinated.

Yesterday I drove to Brisbane to do @cathrinemahoney makeup before her one-woman show… and it was such a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do.

Yes, I was there to do her makeup.
But so often, especially with women over 50, the job is so much more than that.

It’s about helping a woman feel like herself again when she’s tired, nervous, stretched, hormonal, emotional, sleep-deprived… or simply in a season where life feels full.

That’s what so many of my clients are really looking for.

Not heavier makeup.
Not a completely different face.
Not “anti-ageing”.

They want to feel polished.
Current. Seen. Lifted. Confident.

They want makeup that supports them, on stage, at work, out to dinner, at an event, or just in everyday life.

Yesterday was about getting Cathrine camera-ready and stage-ready, yes…
but also helping her feel calm, supported and luminous before stepping into the spotlight.

Then I met my sister Bron @hannahandcodesign and some of the Amanda Ramsay Tribe at the venue to watch the show - and Cath absolutely smashed it. Hilarious, honest, bold, vulnerable and so, so good.

As a co-founder of several small businesses, empowering women to “hit”new goals 👏🏼👏🏼 brings me so much joy 🤍✨

Woohoo 🎉 this year, in our local suburbs, we are celebrating 7 incredible female-founded business recipients in the 2026 Lord Mayors Women in Business Grant.

Joining @brisbane.lordmayor it was such a pleasure to meet Emma Thomson from @pitchitup.cricket to learn more about her innovative cricket training business.

Seeing firsthand how she’s developed an audible cricket ball to make the sport more inclusive for blind and low-vision players was inspiring 👏🏏

SATURDAY NIGHT I was honoured to celebrate @sharethedignityaustralia 10th Birthday & all they have achieved to tackle period poverty, ensuring ALL women and girls have access to period products.

👑 @rochellecourtenay you are truly AMAZING

🩸Share the Dignity was founded by Rochelle after she read an article on @mamamiaaus about women and girls using old socks as substitutes for pads.

⭐️ 10 years on Share the Dignity has achieved so much, but there is a lot more work to do

🙋‍♀️PLEASE stop into your local @woolworths_au and drop some period products into the Pink Bins during the month of March

Below are just some of the Charity’s biggest achievements:

🩸Had GST removed from period products

🩸Collected over 1 Million “it’s in the bag” donations

🩸Collected over 5 Million period products

🩸Installed 1000 Dignity Vending Machines

🧚‍♀️ They have over 3300 extraordinary
volunteers and 3000 Charity Partners

☺️ To celebrate all of this with Founder Rochelle, her family and her team was so special.

👯‍♀️ The event was hosted by the entertaining @kimskubris (an old friend of mine from high school ❤️) with special guests The Governor of Queensland Dr Jeanette Young HE. And Maroochy Barambah, song woman, law-woman & elder of the Turrbal people delivered a moving Welcome to Country.
