The month of November is all about reflecting and looking back at what you're thankful for so here's a little appreciation post for the people that constantly support and encourage me everyday and my beautiful clients that trust me to do their hair.
This career can be so stressful but soooooooooo rewarding when you put all your time and effort into a process to bring a beautiful vision come to life. Over the course of my hair journey I have had some really hard days where I constantly criticized myself, worried about what others were saying about me and my work, if I was good enough, if I should've used a different technique, what did my client think of me, the list goes on and on.
This career is very mentally wearing because your entire career is based on people judging and criticizing your work, and it's very easy to get sucked up into that negative energy/ mindset. And I'm just so thankful that I have the friends, family, and boyfriend that always bring me all this light. I wouldn't be able to do what I love to do without these people. They encourage, reassure, love, motivate, help, guide, and teach me so much without making me feel like less and I'll forever be grateful for that :)
And to my amazing clients who sit in my chair and believe in me I'm so thankful for every last one of you, you guys constantly make me into a better stylist and I meet some pretty awesome people doing it :)
Have an amazing November everyone and remind the people in your life that you're thankful for them!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!! Introducing our senior... Hannah Breitenstein! Congratulations!🎭💜

Hi:) I'm Hannah Breitenstein and I joined CCTA freshman year, but I've been performing since I was 6! I've been apart of over 20 shows, 11 of which were through CCTA. Some of my favorites include Letters to Sala, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Peter and the Starcatcher. My proudest moment is when I had to perform last minute as Ted in Peter and the Starcatcher after Josie got sick. I have made my closest friends through this program and memories I will carry with me forever.
