I hear everyone's talking about Homer...

So excited to share my Helen of Troy book next fall! I've been working on this story for over a decade (swipe for proof...), and though it's had many different forms, it's always been about love and what we'll sacrifice for it, even when we shouldn't. Also: mythmaking, grief, who we are in the aftermath of the big moments that define us. Surreal to think that I'll have two books out in 2027! Seasons for sowing and seasons for reaping. More to come ❤️

This is set just after Lux. A classic "base under siege" set up with some lovely twists. It'd make a great TV episode.

bbc books my beloved 🙏

delighted to say this is another stone cold banger! fast-paced, emotional, exciting, and most of all just a whole lot of fun. it’s a properly classic doctor whoey adventure, but it’s full of so many great nods and references that plant it firmly in season two - it’s even got the obligatory mrs flood cameo!

this is especially good if you’re looking for more 15 and belinda content, and I’d say it’s a good bit lighter than some of their tv episodes (still recovering from ‘the well’). belinda herself gets a lot of love, and their dynamic together is just wonderful. not to be clichéd, but it really is an absolute joy!

this and FEAR DEATH BY WATER by emily cook have made for such great reading this season, and I can’t wait for THE MOON CRUISE by esmie jikiemi-peason to come out in november and complete the trio!

12 years ago I screened my film “3 Bodies” at the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival. It was the first time I had a film selected and screened at a festival, and it was a rush to show my work to a new audience.

“3 Bodies” was a short western I made in college. 12 years later I’m still grateful for the people who worked with me on this ambitious project.

I think I tagged everyone who was involved, and if I forgot someone please berate me in the comments.

I had the privilege of revisiting this tattoo I originally did on the wonderful @hannahfergesen after my apprenticeship many many years ago.
