I loved getting to wear my director hat (and my sound & light designer and stage manager hats) this week collaborating with a fabulous cast to workshop and present a new play by Yune (Sophie) Park. Thank you to Thomas and @kyleewalt for the opportunity.

What a journey. Being a Top 12 semifinalist at the Discovery Awards 2026 was filled with unforgettable memories. Dreams don’t always unfold exactly how we imagine, but sometimes they reveal something even more important. This experience reminded me that not every moment is about the outcome; sometimes it’s about finding joy and just getting to do what you love. Every opportunity has something to teach, and every ending leaves room for a new beginning. Grateful for every note, every lesson, and every moment along the way.

First project of the summer! I was given the incredible opportunity to participate in a workshop for the new musical @bordenmusical . This story and this team is so special, I am so grateful to have worked with each and every one of them on something so important. It was also so lovely to be back working with @voicesampd ❤️

Over the last several days, we’ve stepped inside the Borden house, revisited one of history’s most infamous families, and continued asking the questions that have fascinated generations.

As we prepare to welcome audiences tomorrow, to our workshop presentation performances, we’re feeling grateful for our cast, creative team, supporters, and everyone who has helped bring this workshop to life!

The Discovery Awards 2026! This year at TDA I had the absolute honor of being an Alumni Assistant! This is one of the most incredible experiences I have had and I am so grateful for every second. I got to work behind the scenes, reconnect with old friends, make even more memories, and reminisce on my experience with TDA in 2024 🥹 The community at TDA is unlike anything else and I am blessed that I get to say I am a part of it. A very special thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this past week amazing! TDA will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I am so proud of every single student this year.
