It’s been a year! Since I got a call on a Friday to let me know I was being let go on the Monday.

We took a deep breath, I went to see Matthew McConaughey with Rhys 😂 and we stood outside a pub in London pondering what came next.

When I got home to Han and said ‘I think we have to give up the flat’ she burst into tears. But as we sat and talked about it that step, that felt like a giant leap backwards, seemed to be the only option we had to go forwards again.

We were incredibly blessed to have such a supportive community at that point, something we’ll ALWAYS be incredibly grateful for. And in that moment we decided to go all in, and said to each other ‘Let’s give it a year. No regrets.’

Well, it’s been a year. In that time we’ve posted exactly 100 long form YouTube videos (weird I know but true 😂). We took a risk in starting three channels, but so far that’s felt like one of the best decisions we ever made.

And now exactly one year later we’ve just got back from our biggest adventure yet. 70 something days, 10 states (technically 😂), and a lifetime of memories made with the people we love. We’re so incredibly grateful for it all.

I guess none of us can control the cards we’re dealt, but they do give you a seat at the table, and a chance to play the game. The rest is up to you.

I hope that the last year of our lives can serve as an example to anybody that’s potentially struggling right now. If you feel stuck or lost, it gets better. With the right attitude and ridiculous determination, a lot can be done in a year.

We’re incredibly thankful for this life, and for all of you. We’re so grateful we have family that scooped us up when we were down, and I hope one day we can repay the love we felt in those moments. In all the moments.

More than anything, we’re grateful that we get to do it together. Everyday. Just us two, building a life brick by brick together. She is my best friend, and the greatest team mate.

We have just had the MOST incredible week in Boston, and it’s all thanks to these two right here.

Kara and Bobby are two of the purest souls we’ll ever meet, and Han & I are beyond blessed to now call them friends. We really can’t thank them enough for the last few days.

It’s because of these guys that we got to visit some of the coolest spots in town, and most importantly, they know where all the good food is…🐷🍕

PLUS, the best ice cream we’ve ever had, thanks to the family business at Sullivan Farms. We said we’d go for ice cream, and it really is worth the trip.🍦

The videos are coming over on our travel channel. So you guys will see THREE episodes from the trip, with lots of seafood 🦞, incredible scenery, and an all round good time exploring a little more of the U.S. 🇺🇸!

We’re always extremely grateful for what we do, and what our videos and you guys watching them has done for us and our lives. But this right here, this is what means the most.

So here’s to friends on another continent, that we never would have got to meet had it not been for our YouTube channel, and the coolest week in Boston. 🫶🏻

Sometimes life just needs a little bit of disney magic…🎀✨🏰

If you know me, you’ll know I’m happiest inside the disney bubble. The music, the smells, the snacks, the rides, the castle… honestly, I could stay there forever🥹🩷

But you don’t have to be at Walt Disney World to bring a little bit of that magic into your everyday✨

A disney playlist while you get ready, your favourite disney mug, a little park snack, wearing your loungefly, watching fireworks from the sofa… or simply planning your next trip because obviously that counts too🐭🎠
