It’s been hard to accept that fact that my dance journey is over after it being such a significant part of my life for the past 15 years. There have been plenty of struggles along the way but the joy and growth I experienced has truly brought out the best in me. I wouldn’t be who I am today without dance. Dance has taught me more than I can fully express. To everyone whose path crossed mine throughout these years, thank you for helping shape me into the woman I am today. And to my friends who have truly become family, thank you for always accepting me, supporting me, and for every laugh you’ve given me. As this chapter closes I am hopeful for the next passion God puts in my heart for me to pursue, and I will never forget the dance memories. Thank you contempo. 🤍

it’s hard to put into words how grateful i am for the past 15 years at contempo. this place has been so much more than a studio, it’s been my second home and where i’ve grown into the person i am today. thank you to my teachers for always pushing me and believing in me, and to my teammates for becoming my forever family. saying goodbye is bittersweet, but i’ll carry these memories with me forever.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: HANNAH 💌💫

Hannah Rizzo is graduating from Cypress Creek High School. Hannah has danced for 15 years with 13 of these years at Contempo and 3 on team. Hannah will be attending University of Florida or Florida State University with an exploratory major.

What will you miss most about dance?

The thing I will most miss about dance is the people I’ve met. I’ve made bonds with so many amazing girls, and I’ll miss the time spent with them more than anything.

What is your advice to younger dancers?

My best advice for young dancers is to let go. Nobody around you is paying as much attention to you as you are. Plus, savor every moment!
