Thank you to @althausyxe and @stumbletown_distilling — the two local businesses that came together to support this fundraiser and for their leadership in filling the gaps in our community.

Despite their obvious and important contributions, @prairieharmreduction has been consistently denied government funding. At Neon Nostalgia we were able to fundraise $1,500 for PHR and the people they serve.

The success in this event wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful collaborators and such a hard working team that came together for the community and for the love of art. What an incredible night!

Thank you,
- the 525 Team .*•

Thanks to everyone who supported and stopped by.
Thanks for letting us live our dreams.

“To live in the now. To not look back and say, "I shoulda coulda woulda. " This is something that I am learning from Kanye. I haven't mastered this yet. But I certainly see the need for carpe diem, to seize the day and really live.”

We didn't really intend for this to turn into a photo shoot of Hannah... it was one of those times, where the light was just right, and you feel compelled to capture the moment. I couldn't decide between digital or film, so I wound up shooting both, with absolutely no regrets. With digital, you can instantly see your photos and adjust on the fly; it's convenient. With film, I took fewer photos, and I find it simply makes you slow down; there's no editing or cropping in post, and it tends to make you more methodical with your work.

Once the image is captured, and the film is exposed, the image simply "exists", just as it is. Then there's my friend Hannah, in the comfort of her home, who had invited me in as her guest, to take these photos. It was an absolutely stunning August evening, that had this serene calmness. I feel like this set of photos really captured those feelings.

Been working on my 35mm photography skills, and I've finally started catching up on scanning all my negatives. Here's my friend @hannahscheu during an August sunset.
