God’s the same size in Texas btw… Going into this summer I asked a lot of the returners, “How have you grown as a Christian serving with connect?” Not satisfied with any of their answers, I went into the summer really worried if this was where I was supposed to be. Now, being on the other side of the summer, I can tell you this was exactly where I was supposed to be, and the biggest lesson learned from camp is how to Love. Whether it was our team, or the campers who need just a little bit more loving then the rest, being stretched and learning how to Love each and every person I came across will be a lesson i’ll cherish for eternity. This summer God’s faithfulness has never been so evident. Giving him one big yes 2 years ago and him honoring this yes snow balled into this crazy adventure called Connect Camps. Seeing his faithfulness from day 1 at staff training, to week 2 in San Angelo where lives were changed for eternity, to hearing that some of those same lives that were changed got to meet Abba our Father in week 6 was so eye opening to his plan and the mission we carried out these past two months. Thank you Jesus for using Red Team to have a part in that. Red Team, I can’t say it wasn’t fun. I love each and every one of you individually and for who you are. Thank you for showing me Gods love in your actions and in your testimonies. If you ever need anything don’t be afraid to call. As always, stay sexy <3 -Leader of The Secret Dance Club
