Men have too much responsibility to go it alone.

A vulnerable man is at an advantage because he knows where he needs help, can ask for it, and goes much farther with brotherhood at his back.

No one is “better” in brotherhood. Where one man is naive, another is wise. We can heal through the shared experience of brothers. We can learn and teach from our collective knowledge and wisdom. We can intentionally steer our lives with the perspective and accountability of brotherhood.

We need each other.

Hello, my name is Ory 👋🏼

After receiving the love of this community for almost 7 years, I can’t think of a better place to celebrate connection, curiosity and creativity than Laguna!

We all need community to grow into our potential.

So, I’ve created a “third space.” It’s not home, not work; it’s the place you go to rest and be yourself. No agenda, no posturing, just presence.

I’ve always struggled to connect with people in the typical ways, so I’ve engineered this space for people like me, and I think just about anyone will appreciate it.

Daytime co-working in the silent presence of others.
Regularly scheduled evening programs that hold space for everyone’s expression.
Original local art on the walls, music from vinyl and live musicians, books on the shelves, and curious people sharing wisdom and stories.

Doesn’t get much better than that.

Yet The Village isn’t just about me, it’s about you, and all of us.

I’ve intentionally never shared content from Purpose Circle out of respect for the sacredness of this space.
So why now?

Because I’m honoring brotherhood as one of the greatest catalysts in my growth as I step into a new chapter. 🚀

By sharing this experience, I hope other men feel inspired to navigate their own paths with greater courage and support.

In a culture with such little healthy masculine mentorship, I’ve leaned on the experiences of other growth-minded men to help shape my definition of what it means to be a man today.
Many men remain stuck in childhood and trauma-driven patterns that are nearly impossible to see alone.

While therapy has its place, there’s something uniquely powerful about being witnessed, challenged, and held accountable by a circle of men who’ve walked similar paths.

I got my first taste of brotherhood in college through the @sigmachi fraternity. Ever since, I’ve felt the absence of that sense of belonging—until now. Co-founding this circle with @hansbruz has radically improved my life. Deepening this work with @sacredsons has 10x’d the whole thing.

We need the wisdom of those who’ve walked the same terrain before us. We need the hard edge of accountability to push us through resistance. And sometimes, a man simply needs to be witnessed in his authentic, vulnerable expression for growth to unfold.

#brotherhood isn’t a luxury. It’s medicine.

So many people arrive feeling lost.

They’ve read the books, done the courses, spent years trying to figure themselves out, and yet something still feels unclear.

Through this process we often discover that confusion isn’t the problem.
It’s a signal.

From back pain to moving with joy.

Hans has explored holistic practices for over 18 years to naturally manage back pain, including yoga, tai chi, qi gong, breathwork, meditation, and dance.

On Saturday, he will share a fusion of his favorite parts from practices he explored.

Hans practices this fusion flow himself at home. He notices this blend of actions stimulates blood circulation, activates energy, calms the mind, helps reduce pain, and is a lot of fun.

Portal Colibrí is happy to have him share his practice with the yoga community of Puerto Morelos.
