BEFORE & AFTER progress of the modification of a uniquely-bladed folder. (Scroll to the end for some cool colorways)🔥

✨It’s HABU: ‘named after a Japanese venomous snake, designed by Mike Emler, with a large fully convexed blade.

✨ Cool handle scales are “Arctic Storm” carbon fiber overlays, on TOP of one-piece titanium frame, with integrated bolsters!
💥Cool, very dark & grippy black anodization added. Backspacer was custom rock-sculpted, then polished;
💥and a 2-tone complex anodization was applied by @bali_jesus 🔥🏆🔥
Always tasteful, ‘made it POP, in an understated way. He’s so great🙏🏼
Shown with beloved Embargo Blu and UV reactive resin beads from Jay @goldmountainbeads . Just beautiful artifacts, from favorite Makers💎

Ganbatte, Ganbatte……”do your best!”
I really like this song, which reminds me to “try harder”…

✨It can be a grind here, and because of my Mother’s dementia & short-term memory loss, her appetite for foods has changed….

✨Believe me, it’s SO gratifying when she exclaims that she likes my dishes🏆…..
BUT it’s equally disheartening to have her shy away from a dish because she’s suspicious of black colored foods, which I’m SURE, was a long-buried fear from her youth, during war-torn China🤷🏻‍♂️

✨Daily struggles to put together worthy meals for my Mother…
✨I feed her “The Rainbow”, making sure she gets a colorful & varied diet
🌈check in with your Elders?🙏🏼

I said I favored full-channel Balisongs awhile ago…. It’s what I was first introduced to…
BUT, I still have a group of sandwich Balisongs, that I often carry….. These ladies are amongst the coolest✨🏆✨

Looking forward to receiving another of Dylan Goodwin’s Chanwich construction Balisongs. I have been his client for years, thru his leatherworks!

Balisong Lifestyle……. I’m cooking a lot while caretaking…..Balisongs break up the routines

Any of you listening to “City Pop Genres”?
“Shibuya After Rain” is one of my favorite current tunes!

✨The current “City Pop” genres revive the groove-heavy Japanese dance Pop of the late 80’s into the 90’s….it IS a distinctive style, that evolved during an extremely bountiful & optimistic time-period in Japan🏆 Feels Good, sometimes melancholy, crazy good musicians 💥

I was listening to SO much back then, because of my participation in CompuServe Anime Fansubtitling networks, and just being a rabid Otaku.
This is one of my favorite current tunes !

✨Give a listen…it doesn’t matter that you don’t don’t understand Japanese.
In fact, their voices just meld with the instruments, because we don’t fully comprehend
