Tonight is the night! ❤️

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards. 🏆

After winning in WA a few months ago, I’m incredibly proud to be here representing our state and seeing Happiness Co recognised on the national stage.

Tonight, I get to stand alongside some incredible individuals who have chosen the path of entrepreneurship.

And what a path it is.

It’s hard. It’s unpredictable. It’s sleepless nights, endless sacrifices, big dreams and moments where you genuinely feel like you’re up against the impossible.

But I’ve always believed that entrepreneurs have a responsibility to take on big, wicked problems and find ways to make people’s lives better.

For me, that’s always been the dream.

To take something as simple, yet as powerful, as happiness, hope and human connection and turn it into something that genuinely changes lives.

Tonight, win or lose, I’m proud.

Proud of our team. Proud of the people who have believed in us. Proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited about where we’re going.

And it’s pretty darn cool to see Happiness Co in the national spotlight for the impact we’re making. ❤️

Here’s to the dreamers, the doers and everyone crazy enough to believe they can make the world a little better.

Hope lives in action. ❤️🙌

Hope comes in many shapes and sizes. ❤️

I think that’s what makes the @happinessgala the most magical night of the year. Because for one night, in one room, we get to experience so much of what we’re all searching for in life.

Happiness. Hope. Connection. Contribution. and a place to belong.

It’s in the laughter, the tears, the stories, the friendships, the generosity and the moments that remind us just how beautiful people can be.

It’s a room full of people from different walks of life, coming together for something bigger than themselves.

And perhaps that’s the real magic of the night.

It’s not just about raising money or celebrating a cause.

It’s about reminding people that they matter, that they belong and that no one should have to face life’s challenges alone.

That’s what makes this night so special.
That’s what makes if @happinessco_foundation

What a night! 💜

On Saturday, our community came together for the 2026 Happiness Gala in support of mental health and wellbeing across WA.

Our heartfelt thanks to keynote speaker @jessyugovich from @thealiyahmaefoundation for sharing her story and Aliyah’s memory with us. Thank you to Danielle Ashwin for delivering the Acknowledgement of Country, and to Hamish Tedeschi, Julian Pace, Tia Milligan, Genevieve Vu, Slade Hoare, Annalise Peacock and Barry Hamilton for sharing the work and partnerships behind the Foundation’s impact.

Our wonderful hosts, @cassiesilver and @peteyperth, kept the celebrations flowing with warmth and humour. We loved welcoming Pete for his first year as co-host! Tim Gossage inspired some spirited bidding, while @littlebelleband and @djwildflower.kate kept the dancefloor moving all night.

A heartfelt thank you to our presenting partner, @mechanicalrock.io, and major sponsors @inside_bhp, @hellopav, @coliving_collective_au @optusstadium. Alongside our event sponsors, partners and prize donors, your support made this night possible.

To our volunteers and everyone behind the scenes, thank you for the care and effort that went into every detail.

And to everyone who bought a ticket, placed a bid, entered a raffle, picked up a scratchie or made a donation, thank you for getting involved. Your generosity helps us continue delivering mental health and wellbeing programs to communities across WA.

Until next year! ✨👋🏽

This year’s theme, Breathe. Connect. Belong., is an invitation to step away from the noise and come back to what matters: ourselves, each other and the communities that hold us.

In a world that rarely slows down, the 2026 @happinessgala is a night to pause, reconnect and celebrate the power of belonging. Because sometimes, one conversation, one connection, one moment of feeling seen can change a life.

✨ Final tickets remain. Join us for the most magical night of the year!

In my recent chat with @thewestaustralian and @aim_westernaustralia we spoke about the rise of AI. Many people are worried about jobs being replaced. But do you know what AI can never replace? Being an epically good human.

It can’t replace kindness, decency, love, respect, or the way we inspire and uplift one another. It can’t replace the human connection that makes people feel seen, heard and valued. Happy people who feel good do good.

I believe the people who will thrive over the next 10 to 20 years won’t just be those who are good at what they do, but those who are exceptional at who they are.

The future belongs to those who connect deeply, create belonging, and genuinely care about others. Maybe in our pursuit of success, we’ve forgotten some of these things over the last 20 years.

As AI takes care of more of the tasks, the next decade won’t just be about being great at our jobs it will be about being great humans…..

This is what I spoke for the interview with @thewestaustralian

Today, I’m incredibly honoured to share that I’ve been named a National Finalist in the prestigious @ey_australia Entrepreneur Of The Year Australia program.

If you’d told the 13-year-old kid who left school early, struggled to find my path, my place and wasn’t sure where life was heading, that one day I be recognised by EY as a national entrepreneur finalist for the most prestigious business awards an entrepreneur can receive in Australia. I don’t think he would have believed you.

This recognition isn’t really about me but....

It’s about every person who has trusted Happiness Co, Happiness Co Foundation, Happi to walk alongside them through life’s challenges. It’s about every school we’ve visited, every workplace we’ve partnered with, every fundraiser we’ve held, every volunteer who has given their time, every donation, every partnership and every conversation that has reminded someone they deserve happiness and you’re not alone.

A long time ago, I made a commitment that if I could help create hope for others, then that would be a life worth living. That commitment became a vision to create a global happiness company.

Today that vision includes Happiness Co, the Happiness Co Foundation, Happi, FIFO Happiness and Happiness Aid.

To our incredible team, clients, partners, supporters, board members and community thank you. This recognition belongs to all of us.

I’d also like to congratulate my fellow EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National Finalists. It is inspiring to be recognised alongside such an incredible group of founders, innovators and leaders who are making a difference in their industries and communities across Australia. see all the legends here https://lnkd.in/gBxYZ2Ys

Big thank you to EY and also special to Jake Reilly for being epic

03! And we didn’t even realise until flowers arrived at our door.

Turns out our client @perthsymphony was keeping better track than we were. Which honestly says everything about the kind of relationships we’ve been lucky enough to build.

Three years of @donduo.co, and a reminder that the best part of this business has always been the people.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of it 🖤🤍
