Underpinning righteous fury with thick, groove-laden riffs, anthemic choruses and shredding guitar.

Metal is for the girlies, and they were definitely out in force for @spittingglassuk debut headline show at The Underworld in Camden.

The night was packed with friends, familiar faces and some seriously good heavy music. @tribeofghostsband got things started with their blend of crushing riffs and dual male/female vocals, before Beyond Extinction brought their trademark filth and brutality to the stage.

Next up were @shieldsuk Frontman Joe opened with a heartfelt speech before the band launched into a set full of huge energy, massive choruses and face melting screams that had the crowd fully locked in.

@harbingerriffs were the final support of the night and made sure the energy never dipped. Led by the ever charismatic Dilan, the local lads had the crowd moving from the first note and easily drew some of the biggest reactions of the evening.

Then it was time for @spittingglassuk

After getting everyone warmed up with a pre show playlist that included Creed (as it should), the band hit the stage looking completely at home. You’d never have guessed this was their first headline show. The set was heavy, tight and packed with confidence, opening with new single Full Send and finishing with the absolute chaos of 1HP.

At one point, Joe spoke about how special it was to be sharing the stage with his best mates, and that really summed up the whole night. No egos, no pretence just a group of friends playing great music, backed by a room full of people who were there to celebrate it with them. 🖤🤘🏻🔥
