Making the decision to start over at 36, to change careers, to change states, to change jobs, is not easy. I have done this with great pride, with great effort, and with a lot of work. I am the father of four children, I have a wonderful wife @experimentlifeofficial who supports me, who helps me, who shows me how capable I am, who helps me with my fears and my insecurities about the unknown. Today I reached the first step towards my goal of working in what I always wanted, to be an airline pilot. Today I managed to become a private pilot, I got my private pilot’s license. For many this is something simple, but for me, I have to juggle, working full time, studying the theoretical part, having to fly, perfecting my flight procedures. It has been a great challenge, but at the same time a great blessing in my life. I have no words to describe my joy at this moment, I have no words to thank everyone who is supporting me and especially Matthew Rix and his family. The Rix family @alden.rix.1 has been a great pillar in helping me achieve this dream of mine. I am very grateful to Harbor Aviation @harbouraviation for all the support and professionalism. To my instructor Tyler @_tylerlkelly_ who helped me through this process and on my most challenging days gave me encouragement and inspiration. For all of you who are in doubt, who are afraid, what I can tell you is, it is worth it, follow your dreams, follow your dreams. WORTH IT!
