This is your LAST CALL for early bird tickets! 🚨

If you want to be in the room for our 82nd Annual Equal Opportunity Dinner & Gala, now is the time to secure your seat.

Year after year, this is an evening our members, partners and supporters look forward to, and if you have never joined us before, please consider this your official invitation from the Urban League of Union County.

When you purchase a ticket, you are doing much more than making plans for a great Friday night. Our Equal Opportunity Dinner & Gala is our largest signature fundraiser of the year, and your support helps us continue providing critical programs and services throughout Union County, from housing and eviction prevention to workforce development and reentry, youth programming, financial coaching and civic engagement.

And yes, we plan to have a GOOD time while doing it. 🎉

Join us Friday, October 9, for an evening featuring an open bar, live entertainment from Eric Roberson, an incredible group of 2026 honorees and a room filled with people committed to the strength and future of our community.

So, take advantage of the early bird rate while you still can. Save a little on your ticket and put the difference toward your masquerade mask, your Black Tie look, or whatever you need to make sure you walk into the room ready for the occasion.

Secure your early bird ticket before the clock runs out. We’ll see you in the room. #ulucnj #unioncountynj #northjerseyevents

Our Game On! Sports, Business & Leadership Summit brought together leaders from business, government, sports, education, and the nonprofit sector to explore how one of the world’s biggest sporting events can create lasting economic opportunity throughout New Jersey.

We were honored to welcome New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale Caldwell, and Tai Cooper, NJEDA Chief Community Development Officer alongside an outstanding lineup of panelists, moderators, and industry leaders who shared their expertise on leadership, entrepreneurship, athlete branding, workforce development, and the future of sports.

Once again, to our sponsors, partners, speakers, moderators, vendors, volunteers, planning committee, and every attendee who joined the conversation, thank you. Your commitment helped transform this event into a meaningful exchange of ideas and a catalyst for future collaboration.

We are also grateful to every organization and individual who helped make the Game On! initiative possible, and to everyone who continues to believe in the power of sport to unite communities and create opportunity.

Together, we’ve laid the foundation for a lasting legacy that extends well beyond the final whistle.

New Posters Of The Month! ⚒️

These poster were design by @stijhl at @hardbitestudio ✈️

Posters are important in design culture they represent design in its most distilled and powerful form a single visual moment where typography, imagery, and message must work together instantly to communicate emotion or meaning. They also act as cultural time capsules, capturing the spirit of movements, brands, and eras in one frame. Posters don’t just promote culture they help define it.

Who should design the next posters? 👀

Last month, we stepped out for the Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce Members After Dark event.
We felt proud.
Our firm has called Elizabeth home for almost one year. This city moves with grit, culture, and ambition. You feel it in every room.
Being in community with fellow Chamber members and new partners matters. Relationships drive impact. Proximity builds trust. Trust builds results.
It is always a joy to see Mayor Chris Bollwage. A steady leader. A true legend. His presence reflects the strength and continuity of this city.
We are grateful to build, partner, and grow here.
Thank you to the Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce for creating spaces where business and community meet.
Elizabeth is rising. We are proud to be part of it.
