63 finishers ran, walked and (apparently) carried dogs across the bridge at Percy Priest Dam 🐾 Thank you to everyone who came out, to our presenting sponsor HTK Wealth Management, and to every volunteer who made it happen.

🏆 History made: the first course records at Percy Priest Dam belong to Luna McCauley (18:30) and Jim Werdeniuk (21:38).

🏅 NEW: Every runner now has a Trophy Case on runntenn.com — Tennessee-made medals you earn just by showing up. First finishes, podiums, age groups, course records, a milestone every 5 races, and volunteering. Finish 3 races in 2026 to earn Founding Runner… and November 21 seals it.

🐕 NEXT UP: Saturday, Nov 21, 8 AM at Edwin Warner Park, Shelter 9. Super dog friendly, with awards for the dogs, Nashville Humane as our featured charity, and coffee & donuts. Presented by TBH Advisors. Free as always. Sign up at runntenn.com (link in bio).

❤️ Keep it free and give back:

Caney Fork Ultra | Sparta, Tennessee | 50 mile & 25k | @hardwinadventures

A DEEP RUN THROUGH TENNESSEE’S WILDEST BACKCOUNTRY

Caney Fork takes runners into the rugged Caney Fork and Scotts Gulf region of the Cumberland Plateau—an ancient landscape shaped by water, limestone and time. Towering bluffs rise above deep gorges, streams disappear underground, waterfalls burst from the rock and miles of forest remain genuinely remote.

Expect technical trail, sustained climbs and descents, shaded hollows, high overlooks, creek crossings and long stretches where you feel far from everything. This is not a groomed trail race. The miles are earned here.

The 50 mile is a single loop with 8,500 feet of elevation gain. The 25k is a lollipop route with 4,000 feet elevation gain.

We ran the numbers on our advertising budget.

$24,000+ this year. Zero of it on ads.

All of it on Go Pouches. 8,000+ of them, free, across 78 races with 21 race directors. Handed out however they saw fit — packet pickup, aid stations, the guy falling apart at mile 60. Not our call. Their race.

We packed all of it ourselves. 15-hour days. 1,200 pouches in one weekend, by hand. Then we drove out, put a camera on it, and did it again.

You can tell people your product works. Or you can put it in their hands at mile 80 and let the chafe make the argument.

We picked the second one.

Too smooth to quit.

A huge thank you to all of our runners, volunteers, sponsors, and partners who came out for today’s RUNNTENN race at Cornelia Fort Airpark! We couldn’t do this without you.

Results are now up at RUNNTENN.com!

I may have made the course a little short. Who knew? Hardin shortening a course… unheard of. 😂 We’ll get it exactly right next time!

Thank you Achilles Nashville, @Local on 2, @HardWin Adventures, @Fleet Feet Nashville, @Brooks Running, and @HTK Management for helping make today possible.

I will have images up tomorrow and post here when they come up. I also have finish line photos up by Monday.

See you at the next one!

First one in the books! Despite the heat, we had an incredible turnout for the very first RUNNTENN 5K at Cornelia Fort Airpark! Congrats to all the runners, walkers, ruckers, rollers and doggies. What an inspiration it was to see the Achilles team take on the course.

What a morning. What a start. Let’s keep running! Hope to see you at the next one on the Harpeth River Greenway at Morton Mill, September 26th!
