Fashion Week is not just about the fashion shows…
It’s the perfect time to meet the designers and go to trunk shows!

@kenny.rodgers11 and I went to @summercolonylivingpalmdesert to see @cynthiarowley. We had our tickets for the fashion show, but there’s something exciting about meeting the designer and seeing some of the fashions beforehand!

The store was packed and there was a buying frenzy!! People were looking for what to wear to the fashion show…. And there were so many great pieces to choose from.

After talking to Cynthia, I asked her about a piece that I thought was a belt, but when she gave me a variety of ways to wear it, I said, “SOLD!! I’ll take it!” I love how a designer will expand your thinking on fashion!

Also, in store, was Ashan, who is the designer of Haritha Jewelry. I saw him at Fashion Week last year and I’m so excited to see his beautiful line of jewelry in Summer Colony Living. I have a pair of his earrings and I LOVE them!
