Everything I like is either a thousand calories or a thousand dollars. 😅

🥐 The calories: Harken Bakery and Cafe in Charleston. Amazing.
🍂 The dollars: Out of Hand on Pitt Street in Mt. Pleasant. Beautiful, timeless pieces, perfect for fall.

Greenville, I need your answers. What’s your 1,000 calorie spot and your 1,000 dollar spot? Drop both below and I’ll go try the best ones. 👇

Send this to the friend who’s your shopping and snack buddy. 🖤

Charleston men, here’s something that can change the way you connect with a woman.

She gets home after a difficult day and starts telling you what happened.

Your immediate instinct?

Give her a solution.

Tell her what she should have done.
Explain how to handle it next time.
Find a way to make the problem disappear.

Your intentions are good. You want to help.

But sometimes, she isn’t asking you to solve anything. She’s trying to share her experience with you.

Try this instead.

Put your phone down.

Look at her.

Listen without interrupting.

Then say:

“That sounds incredibly frustrating. I can understand why you’re upset.”

And if you’re unsure what she needs, ask:

“Do you want my thoughts on this, or do you just need me to listen for a minute?”

That’s it.

You haven’t solved her problem. You haven’t rescued her. You’ve given her the opportunity to feel understood.

And gentlemen, here’s the important part: listening doesn’t mean you have to agree with everything she says. It means you care enough to understand her perspective before responding.

A healthy relationship isn’t built on one person fixing everything for the other.

It’s built on two people who feel comfortable bringing their real lives to each other.

You don’t have to be a mind reader. You just have to be willing to pay attention.

Ladies, send this to a man who means well but occasionally turns every conversation into a problem-solving meeting. ❤️

Men, if you want to become more confident in dating, understand relationship dynamics, and learn how to navigate situations that leave you second-guessing yourself, DM “DATE.”

Private dating strategy sessions start at $100.

Practical guidance. Real situations. Better connections.

Charleston has SO many good coffee shops, so here’s another round of my favorite local coffee spots ☕️✨ If you’re searching for the best coffee shops in Charleston, SC, or looking for a new iced latte to try on your next coffee run, add these to your list! SWIPE FOR MY ORDER!! ➡️

🤍 @thecoopercharleston: Their specialty praline latte, called the Cooper River, was SO delish. If you love a little sweetness in your coffee, this one is a must try! Incredible atmosphere and waterfront seating, this place is hard to beat!

🤍 @harkencafe: The maple latte is one of my all-time favorites. Harken is the sister shop to Harbinger, and both are worth adding to your Charleston coffee shop rotation if they don’t already exist on the itinerary!

🤍 @center_street_coffee: Out on Folly Beach! I’ve been wanting to try their cold foam, but they were out when I visited. Looks like I’ll just have to plan another morning coffee run and beach walk soon 🤭

🤍 @lcponycoffee: A mobile Charleston coffee pop-up with a seriously loyal following! I caught their simmer blueberry latte on one of the last days it was available, and now I need to go back and try their fall coffee flavors.

Save this for your next Charleston coffee crawl, weekend coffee run, or Folly Beach morning! And tell me which Charleston coffee shop I need to try next ☕️

There’s just something about fall in Charleston. 🍂

A little cooler in the mornings. Pumpkins on the porches. Football in the courtyard. Live music by the river. Long lunches that turn into golden-hour drinks.

It’s the season that makes us want to slow down, get outside, and enjoy all the little things that make Charleston feel like home. 🤎

So we put together a few of our favorite ways to spend a fall day in the Lowcountry—from what’s happening around town to the simple things that don’t require a reservation. 🎃

Save this one for your Charleston fall bucket list, and tag your favorite fall companion.

What are we missing? Tell us your Charleston fall favorite. 👇

Some people plan a trip around the biggest attractions. I’m over here planning mine around coffee shops and bookstores. ☕📚

If your idea of the perfect Saturday is grabbing a really good coffee, wandering a farmers market, browsing an independent bookstore, and then exploring the city with nowhere you have to be… these five belong on your list:

🍂 Boston — Beacon Hill Books & Café + a stroll through Boston Common
🌿 Charleston — Harken Cafe + Buxton Books + the historic district
☕ Seattle — Anchorhead Coffee + Pike Place Market + Elliott Bay Book Company
🦞 Portland, Maine — Bard Coffee + Portland Farmers’ Market + Longfellow Books
🌳 Savannah — The Coffee Fox + a Saturday market + E. Shaver Booksellers

Honestly, this might be my favorite kind of city getaway. No jam-packed itinerary. No racing from attraction to attraction. Just good coffee, local finds, stacks of books, great food, and plenty of time to wander.

Because sometimes the best way to experience a city is to spend a Saturday pretending you live there.

📌 SAVE this for your next long-weekend getaway.

And tell me below: Boston, Charleston, Seattle, Portland or Savannah — which Saturday are you choosing?
