Women’s basketball didn’t just shape the athlete I was, it shaped the woman I became. It taught me that greatness is earned long before anyone applauds it, that resilience is built in empty gyms, and that leadership is measured by how many others you inspire to rise with you. Today, as women’s basketball finally receives the visibility, investment, and respect it has always deserved, I don’t just celebrate the game’s growth, I celebrate every woman who kept believing when no one was watching. The sport gave me purpose then; today, it gives me perspective. It reminds me that every lesson learned on the court now lives through my leadership, my mentorship, and my commitment to opening doors for the next generation of girls who dare to dream. Women’s basketball didn’t simply change my life, it became the foundation from which I learned to lead, serve, and leave a legacy.

With God all things are possible!

@staley05 is the first woman I ever looked up to. She’s my 3rd childhood hero. In my eyes, she is the #GWOAT ~ Meeting her was on my bucket list and god made it happen!!!

(Shout out to my girl @raina15 for the intro, I appreciate you and I’m proud of you!)

And thank you to ALL the women and young ladies who blessed me with their inspiration and presence in July.
