The Brookfield City Lifestyle Launch party was 1 week ago today.
Every day since, I’ve found myself getting emotional thinking about the partnerships and friendships that filled the room.
The best way I know how to bring that night to life for those who couldn't be there (and to honor those who were) is to share the words I spoke that evening. Over the next few days, I’ll be breaking my speech into pieces, highlighting the amazing people and businesses that are the heartbeat of this publication.
The Opening: Leap of Faith
Good evening, everyone! Thank you so much for being here. Looking around this room and seeing all of your faces, I am honestly overwhelmed. Tonight isn’t just a party; it’s the moment a vision finally becomes a reality.
My journey here started unexpectedly: a recruiter’s call, a conversation with a friend, and a purpose that just clicked. I imagine many of your businesses started the same way. No matter how the story begins, it always requires taking a leap of faith. I knew I had to take this leap—and standing here tonight, I realize it led me exactly where I was meant to be: right here in Brookfield, surrounded by the most incredible partners and friends I could ask for.
