Meet the leadership of the 26-27 yearbook staff. This is the largest editorial board we’ve had in at least a decade, and we’re so grateful each of these staff members agreed to use their talents and passions to serve as leaders on staff.

It’s getting harder to surprise this staff!

2nd hour got a special visit from @ybkjohn today, presenting us our @walsworthyearbooks Gallery of Excellence plaque for volume 31 of Aurora, let me tell you something. This is Aurora’s fourth year in a row to receive this honor and the ninth book in school history.

Our 25-26 co-editor in chiefs, @bayliealivia and @jadyn_delgado7 were able to Google Meet with us between their @mizzou classes, which was a treat for the current staff as well 🐯💛

Though he missed the surprise itself, current co-editor in chief and 25-26 design editor @bennett.salva0 had the honor of adding our first split covers to the top of the cabinets.

Stop by room 2135 or email jessica.brown@lsr7.net any time if you missed out on the opportunity to buy your very own copy of the 25-26 yearbook. There are very few yellow copies left for $85 cash or check made out to LSN Yearbook.

Yearbook Distribution Day for our 31st volume of the Aurora is HERE! 💙🩷💛 We encourage you to bring fun pens and stick around awhile to sign each others’ books. Tag us in your posts and stories to let us know what you think!

Be advised that for the first time in school history, we have three different cover versions. When you pick up your reserved yearbook, you can request the color of your choice while supplies of each last. A yearbook reservation DOES NOT mean you’re guaranteed the color of your choice; make sure you promptly pick up your book if choosing your color is important to you.

If you paid for a name engraving this year, you will receive a fancy name plate sticker so you can customize the name engraving placement on the cover color of your choice. Read on for distribution details.

From 2:30-6:00 PM, the yearbook staff will have a horseshoe table set up in front of the cafeteria where CURRENT students who pre-ordered their yearbook will be able to pick up their copy in alphabetized lines during the following suggested times with the intent of reducing long lines:

Seniors (Class of 2027) – 2:30 PM

Juniors (Class of 2028) – 3:15 PM

Sophomores (Class of 2029) – 4:00 PM

All students must sign out their yearbook to confirm they received their pre-ordered copy.

Class of 2026, your books will be available in the commons NOT the front office on August 13 only. If you’re a 2026 senior and already away from LS, a parent or sibling can pick up your yearbook with a copy of the receipt and ID.

Not sure if you pre-ordered? Go to yearbookforever.com and look up your purchase using your email address, or email jessica.brown@lsr7.net if you think you paid with all of your other fees at registration last year. There are a very limited number of extra copies available for $85 CASH or CHECK ONLY on a first come, first serve basis. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

If you missed out on the memories this year, make sure you pre-order your 2026-2027 yearbook today at yearbookforever.com!
