Italy's a neat place to shoot a feature. I certainly won't be forgetting this one, for all the ups and downs.

I brought on @kakey_mcknatt1 as my boom operator. It was a difficult job, but she's a quick and adaptable learner, and she kicked ass on this one. Thank you for rolling with me on this crazy job, Kasey :)

A vineyard in Umbria, where much of the film was shot.

Waterproofing for a rainy scene.

Splitting from the cart and bagging it

Lavs disagreed with the costumes, so plant for a wide.

@harper_rollins_ looking majestic in front of his lighting setups, as always.

God-intended spread

I didn't have to sit outside, but the weather was too good not to.

@garrettholtz is a wonderful DP and cam op !!! Thanks for being such a willing collaborator, looking out for our department, and keeping me sane.

I don't usually wear short shorts on set, but when in Rome?

She's so cool

Kickass sunsets all week at this beach house.

Fun boom position to avoid getting Kasey wet while keeping the ocean off-axis.

I'd love to give a talent shoutout, but I signed an NDA 💔

Pretending to be focused.

Bouldering in the UNESCO World Heritage area of Hampi in India was amazing, thanks to the wonderful people I met there. Thank you all!

Those square cut-out pieces you see on the boulder were once created using an ancient technique called 'Kannada Kallina Kalu'. This ingenious method involved chiseling square holes into the rock and inserting bamboo sticks soaked in water. As the bamboo expanded, it exerted pressure on the rock, causing it to crack along the predetermined lines. This remarkable technique was used to create the temples and other impressive rock-cut monuments.
