Guys and Dolls opened last night to a packed house at the Festival Theatre, with a mid-show standing ovation after the thrilling dance number Crapshooters' Ballet! 🕺🎲
The red carpet was also on fire with many dressed up in the theme of the classic Broadway musical and many familiar faces.

Opening week continues with A Midsummer Night's Dream this evening! ✨

There’s nothing quite like theatre family, working for months to bring an incredible show to life and share with the world. It’s work, laughter, exploration and friendship and wrapped into one.

If A Little Night Music piqued your curiosity, auditions for the @wavestage production of the Broadway musical “A Christmas Carol” close on April 5th. Get your submission in and come play!!

And to all our family and friends who saw the show, continue to support live theatre, and cheered us on, thank you! 🎭🎶❤️

Happy (belated) world theatre day! ✨

There is no place in the world that feels more special than a theatre, when I am on stage I feel the worries of mundane life slip away and for a moment I feel a freedom that is unmatched by anything else

For a long time even though I felt home on the stage I felt like a little bit of a black sheep in some of the shows I did. It took a lot of time to feel like I really belonged in the theatre community, but recently the shows I’ve been doing have showed me that there is a place for me here and wonderful people to share the stage with! I feel like I’ve found a family that loves being in this space as much as I do ❤️

To many more shows and many more adventures!

Harper was in studio recently for her updated headshots. After starring as Annie and breaking records as Stratford’s longest running production, she has distinguished herself as not only a tremendously talented performer, but someone who is very well respected for her dedicated work ethic, her kindness and generosity of spirit, and an inspirational role model for countless other young performers who dream to be on stage like her one day. Congratulations, Harper! And I know this is only the beginning for you!⭐️⭐️⭐️ #musical theatre #annie #stratford #actor #headshotsession

ANNIE – closing night at Stratford Festival.
I can’t believe this chapter has come to an end. This show has meant more to me than I can put into words, and I’m so grateful for every second of it. Thank you to every single person in the cast and crew for making this experience so special, supportive, and unforgettable. You all made this feel like home 🤍

@donnafeore — thank you for believing in all of us and for leading this show with so much passion, strength, and heart. Your vision brought ANNIE to life in the most magical way, and getting to learn from you has been such an honor. You inspire me more than you know, and I will carry everything you taught me into every show I do next.

@bethanykovarik — thank you for your constant guidance, patience, and care. You made every rehearsal a place where we felt supported and confident, and you always knew how to bring out the best in us. You are such an inspiration to me! I am so grateful for you and for everything you gave to this show and to all of us.

@lauracondlln — thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and for always being there for us. You helped make this process so special and so joyful, and your support means the world to me. I feel so grateful to have worked with you. You have inspired me! I love you!

Lastly, a special thank you to all my Orphan sisters for your friendship and making so many memories on our journey! I have made lifelong friendships that I will cherish forever!

Thank you, ANNIE, for the memories, the friendships, and the magic. I will never forget this show ☀️🧹🐕✨

In the immortal words of Pepper, the orphan: ‘so long, dumb bell’.

Miss Aggie Hannigan, I loved you with my whole heart and soul. What an exhilarating privilege it was to walk in your drunken shoes for nine months.

Endless thanks to every cast mate, kiddo and doggo, the brilliant creative team, our wondrous and heroic stage management, the world class orchestra, the bevy of backstage beauties, and a spectacular crew.
And to all the patrons and all the families that came from near and far: thank you for your open hearts and your laughter. What an unmatched gift to share this story with you. I’m going to miss it very much.
