I did it 🙌🏻

6th half marathon in the bag with @officialbighalf 🏅and 3rd best half mary time with a chip of 1:43:01.

With the knee injury I've had the last few weeks, I was really unsure if I would be able to finish the course so I'm pleased that the left knee held up and we got it done 🙌🏻

Not going to lie, my fitness recently has gone down the pan. Easy effort runs do not feel easy, heart rate is sky high for low intensity and everything is just that much more hard work. Hopefully I'll get over this blip soon..

And thank you to everyone who wished me luck for today's run, your support always means a lot 🫶🏻

And lastly, it was SO lovely to meet the incredible @harps_runs in person today!!! My real life running inspo! So glad we started and ended the event together 😊

Harps also suggested that I try a jumping picture right at the end, and my god, I thought my legs were going to cave in on me haha. Do not try this after running 13.1 miles.

Sauna Reflections: Embrace Discomfort 💭

Chasing big goals comes with discomfort, obstacles, and barriers along the way. We’re 39 days out from the @mesamarathon , and this is the point in the training block where things really start to get hard. Mileage is climbing, there’s still a 22 miler ahead, and some mornings I’d much rather sleep in than lace up my shoes.

But this is the moment to lean into your why and to lean into the discomfort. Just like on race day, we train ourselves to embrace and push through the tough moments we know are coming.

Thank you @runnersfixcoaching for the flexibility and encouragement for another marathon block.

Grateful to be partnering with @heavenlyheatsaunas to recover more effectively and keep pushing the needle toward some goals in 2026.
