So grateful to be able to display and share all four Community Weave Panels and photo collages during Community Day. It was at The Pocantico Center, where this project started about a year ago with two Intergenerational, bilingual, weaving workshops. Thank you to all that participated and supported this project. #communityweave #sleepyhollow #tarrytown #communityart

The theme of the space between the leaves continues. Trees represent mystery and timelessness, constancy. Forgiving and beautiful. The space between is the unknown. We are left to ponder. #abstractartists #rivertownartists #acrylicpaintings #dailyabstractart mixedmedia #treesofinstagram

✌🏾second @communityweave workshop is in the books. this time, the ramapo gryphons got to cast their votes and vision for their memorial park. 🌳

BIG thank you to daphnee momperousse for inviting her haitian and environmental club students to participate. this event couldn’t have happened without her and steven branford’s coordination. 🪡

💡 gracias a kersten harries for creating and leading us through such a cool activity to come together around.

🎨 and last, but surely not least, thank you to @artscouncilofrockland for funding this program, and to @storyspacearts for sponsoring and supporting our work!

Spring cleaning? Couldn’t be us.
We’re doing ✨spring chaos with intention✨

This is your ADHD witch shop teaser …yes I’m jumping around, no I didn’t show everything, and yes… you’ll want to experience it in person 🖤

Come wander Cozy Coven IRL: a cozy metaphysical shop filled with crystals, tarot and oracle decks, spell kits, witchcraft supplies, and spooky little gifts your brain will absolutely hyperfixate on 🔮

Calmer, cozier… still a little overstimulating (as it should be) 🕯️

If your brain went “ooh shiny”… you already know

what a day, what a day! ☀️ our first @communityweave workshop at @finkelsteinlibrary was a blast.

we had so much fun learning a new skill with our neighbors, families, and friends while envisioning what a restored memorial park could look like 💭

💚 thank you to our artist facilitator kersten (@harrieskersten - slide 2) for crafting such a creative way for people to come together.

next one’s at my alma mater, ramapo high school, on 3/24, and i can’t wait! 🤩 #hopeinthevalley
