The fantasy dress fitting

Step into the fairy cave where it all began.
Every day I consider myself incredibly lucky that I get to do a job I love and that challenges me, and I have baby Myleene to thank for it.
The endless hours sitting at the piano, alone in practice rooms, commuting on trains, saving up for concert outfits, travel, harp strings then being hit with the math that it would probably be easier to make it as an astronaut than a musician.
I used to queue for the cheapest standing tickets at @royalalberthall when I was a student musician @guildhallschool and @royalacademyofmusic (where I’m currently visiting lecturer) and now I get to regularly perform on this very stage.

Being a POC nerd who loved both Mozart and Madonna was not considered cool growing up in Great Yarmouth (and boy did pay the price) but I stuck with it.
