🍁🌿Nature - our home, our nationality, our essence🌿🍁

I have been totally inspired by this month's guest speaker Agnes Ashbell, who has spent her life committed to what I believe is essential for the health and happiness of all humans - connecting us back to nature.

I've created a menu to celebrate the nature all around us, using seasonal ingredients that I've foraged, or that have been grown by my friend Liz in her love-filled garden 🥕🥔🍅💚.
Swipe 👉 to see what's coming!

I'm really excited to share food and remembering that we ARE nature, and if there is one thing that will always make us feel better, it is being in nature together.

My hope is that this is exactly the experience you'll get at Supper Club - nature on a plate, shared together🥰

To book follow the link in my bio/comments.

See you there!

Turns out, you don't have to do it all yourself. Who knew? 😉

This weekend, four coaches, a forest, a WhatsApp group and a shared appetite for learning turned into something really lovely.

We shared ideas, tried new things, laughed a lot and even moaned a bit.

Our theme for the weekend was joy and ease. We left with both. And a haiku. And some lovely memories. 🌿

I've written about it in my blog.

"I start a WhatsApp group and accidentally organise a retreat."

What a lovely way to spend a Wednesday morning.

I joined the Wellness Warriors meeting in Leamington today and it was just so grounding. Meeta Darji opened with a meditation and it set the most beautiful tone for everything that followed.

A lovely group of men and women all in the wellness space, all there to share, support and show up for one another.

Today we held space for those experiencing grief and simply listened. Sometimes that is the most important thing we can do.

We also heard from Raj Darji from Scratch Cook Social on the emotions of your business, something I’d probably not thought about in that way before but it really landed. His values are belonging, gratitude and joy and community ran through every word.

It made me think about what I want my clients to feel. Supported, relieved, trusted, calm and confident. Like they have someone genuinely in their corner.

What about you? What emotion sits at the heart of your business

We’ve designed this transformational half day for you if you are feeling a bit stuck, perhaps you need to work on your money mindset, or you are not clear on where you or your business is heading or maybe you know you could be doing more and want to lean into your full potential.

We’ll be working with the powerful tools of EFT tapping, NLP, mindset tools and visualisations. You get to experience the shift in the morning and then continue to up level your business after.

Louisa came to the last one and said how truly transformational it was - we don’t use that word lightly!

Wed 23rd 9.30-1 in Warwick

Why is the fruit & veg section of the EAT-Lancet plate so big?
Because plants punch well above their weight.
The EAT-Lancet Commission brought together experts from around the world to ask a big question: How can we feed a growing population in a way that’s good for both human health and the planet? Their answer was the Planetary Health Diet, where around half the plate is made up of vegetables and fruit. This reflects the evidence that diets rich in plant foods provide fibre, vitamins, minerals and thousands of beneficial plant compounds, while also having a lower environmental impact than many animal-based foods.

One of the easiest ways to get there? Salads.
But let’s be honest... nobody dreams about eating a bowl of sad, dry lettuce. 😴
The secret isn’t just eating more salad. It’s making salad taste incredible.
✅ Fresh herbs
✅ Extra virgin olive oil
✅ Lemon or vinegar
✅ Spices and seasoning
✅ Nuts and seeds for crunch
✅ Different colours and textures

A well-seasoned salad isn’t a punishment. It’s an opportunity to create something colourful, satisfying and packed with nutrients.
So don’t settle for a boring salad. Build a salad you actually want to eat, and suddenly filling half your plate with fruit and veg becomes a lot easier.
🥗 More flavour. More colour. More plants. Better for you, and better for the planet.

Thank you the amazing @harrietsaxton and @joflem13 for a brilliant evening. The food was divine (@lexislovingspoonful ), the talk informative and the conversations rich.

This is a monthly supper club run by Harriet in Leamington that I would highly recommend attending.

This month we had a load of NHS healthcare professionals from primary care. A thank you to @cwtraininghub for funding the evening and providing the opportunity for staff to focus on their health and learning.

It was great to hear staff reflect on their own health and lifestyle and consider what they want to explore. Many stated it had inspired them to make changes.

Maybe I don’t need to try harder… maybe I need to be kinder to myself.

I was reminded of this last night at supper club, an evening I go back to every month if I can… hosted by the lovely Harriet and Lexi (food pic shows lexi’s amazingly tasty food), and I think I needed to hear it.

Maybe you do too.

I’ve definitely felt over the summer that I should be doing more, that I’m behind, that there are things I haven’t got round to yet… whilst actually juggling quite a lot.

I think so many of us do this. We’re so used to being on the go, thinking about what needs doing next, what everyone else needs from us, what we should have done by now, that our answer is often to push ourselves a little bit harder.

But what if, instead, we paused for a moment and asked…

What do I need right now?

What would fill my cup up a little?

What would feel good?

What would I do if I was being as kind and thoughtful towards myself as I am towards everyone else?

Sometimes it might be getting something done. Sometimes it might be going for a walk, seeing a friend, having an early night, saying no to something, sitting in the sunshine with a cup of tea, or simply giving ourselves permission to stop for a bit without feeling guilty about it.

Health coaches Jo Fleming and Harriet Saxton talked about this so beautifully last night and I definitely needed the reminder! Thank you both and thanks Lexi for the gorgeous food. All in the lovely Desa Cafe.

So that’s my little reminder to myself today.

Maybe I don’t need to try harder. Maybe I need to be kinder to myself. 💜

Loved running the sound healing and creative activation session last night. I am in my happy place running these combining the power of voice in a guided meditation, the power of rhythm with shamanic drumming and the power of vibration with the gong.

Such amazing feedback from everyone there - very excited about the next sound event sept 11th - already got half the spaces taken so if this is calling to you, you can book a space via events in bio or take a look on my website super-being.co.uk

Would love to guide you through a sound journey activating your super subconscious all whilst you lay back and relax.

Lunch Club was giving 🧘🏻‍♀️🌱

Today was an invitation to slow down.

To sit beneath the shade of a tree, feel the warmth of the afternoon sun, breathe a little deeper, and simply be.

Through a gentle Heartmath practice led by @harrietsaxton , I was reminded that when we soften into the present moment and connect with our hearts, something shifts.

The mind quietens.
The body relaxes.
We let go of what we've been carrying, even if only for a little while.

@lexislovingspoonful prepared a beautifully homegrown vegan picnic, nature all around us, and the space to pause... sometimes that's exactly the medicine we didn't know we needed.

Here's your reminder to take a moment.

Breathe.
Feel the sun on your skin if you can.
Let your heart lead for a while. 🤍
