An incredibly special evening in London celebrating @designetal International Design & Architecture Awards.

I started my business as a small company with a large vision - so proud for NRD Design Studio to have been nominated and named a finalist in two European categories, representing Irish design on an international stage. 🇮🇪

🏆 Auburn Woods Retreat — Interior Design Scheme Europe

While we didn’t take home the awards this year, being recognised as finalists for two projects amongst incredible international design talent is something I’m hugely proud of.

Coastal Luxury 🌅 NRD Design Studios

I’m so excited to finally share this project — one of the only private client homes I designed closing off 2025, which made it especially meaningful for me.

I designed this as a deeply considered response to its location — a home set in Sandymount, facing the beautiful coast and iconic Aviva Stadium, with beautiful views that constantly shape the atmosphere of the space.

My design focuses on calm, clarity, and layering. I worked with a soft coastal palette inspired by Dublin Bay, using texture, tone, and materiality to create depth rather than relying on colour. The result is a space that feels effortless, warm, and quietly luxurious.

I combined @maryfallonart with vintage charity shop finds along with mid-to-high-end furniture, luxury bedding, refined accessories and @solarisblindsand. This mix of old and new creates character, longevity, and a home that feels collected rather than styled.

This project reflects my approach to design — thoughtful, sustainable, and deeply personal — creating homes that feel calm, luxurious and truly timeless. For staging, styling or showhome design please contact info@theinteriorsnrd.com. ✨

Highlights from December ✨🎊✨

What a magical December… with fantastic parties, design, creativity, celebration and connection. One of my best and busiest Christmas seasons in Dublin & London, filled with inspiring people, exciting projects and very special moments.

From studio days to shoots, styling & site visits, media moments to festive events, and plenty of hosting in between — with more again tonight — it’s been truly magical and I’m feeling incredibly grateful. ❤️

✨ Festive Design Inspiration | Auburn Woods Retreat 🎄

A few weeks ago, I styled a Christmas scheme for the Auburn Woods Retreat showhome I designed @hollybrookhomes — a look rooted in calm elegance, winter light and timeless festive styling. This reel captures those moments beautifully, filmed @harrison.media , bringing the atmosphere and detail of the space to life.

The styling focused on soft glamour — layered neutrals, winter whites, subtle metallic accents and tactile textures that sit comfortably within the home’s classic-contemporary architecture.

Irish design features throughout, with carefully chosen pieces such as the beautiful soft furnishings & trees @paulcostelloeofficial @dunnesstores along with accessories @silk_prestige @avocaireland and preloved @vision_ireland_retail, seasonal scent touches from @labougieofficial and @maxbenjaminofficial.

The intention was to create a festive home that feels warm, welcoming and considered — investing in sustainable choices that can last for years to follow. So, this may offer a little inspiration if you’re still decorating or looking to refresh your space for the season.✨

𝐀 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭. 🏠

Our penultimate event of the year was delivered for our fantastic client, Evara.

We supported their first-ever Supply Chain Summit, hosting more than 200 guests for an evening of sharp industry insight, audience engagement, and networking. Since breaking ground in late 2020, Evara has already delivered over 5,000 new homes across Ireland. With 16 live projects, including five self-build schemes and a pipeline aiming for 1,000 homes in 2026 and 1,500 annually thereafter, their momentum is only growing.

From creative direction through to meticulous planning, we shaped the entire experience, including bespoke stage and set design, to create an impactful event built around knowledge-sharing and collaboration across the sector.

✨ Auburn Woods Retreat Show Home — Design et Al Awards Nominee! ✨

I am beyond grateful to be nominated for the UK & Global @designetal (Europe) for my work on the Auburn Woods Retreat Show Home for @hollybrookhomes. 🌍

This project is a celebration of sustainable design, championing local and ethical brands such as @silk_prestige @maryfallonart @solarisblindsand @cosentino.ie, alongside so many incredible partners who share the same values.

I aim to design spaces that are both stylish and environmentally conscious has always been at the heart of my work, and I’m so proud to see this vision recognised on such a global stage.

Love conquers all, even the rain! ☔ Jenny and Clint tied the knot at the stunning City Hall Dublin surrounded by their loved ones. The newlyweds braved the weather and continued the celebration at the cozy Horse and Hound pub in Delgany, with delicious food, heartwarming speeches, and lots of laughter. 💕 Despite the downpour, it was a day filled with magic, joy, and unforgettable memories. 🎉
