Saturday 5th September – Eric Young Trophy Regained 🏆

Following a full set of club fixtures against Old Meadonians, it was fantastic to see the Club regain the trophy yesterday with a clean sweep of results in our annual end-of-pre-season tournament

1s won 4-0 courtesy of goals from @kristian_feed, @harrrygregory and @josephrobertmartin who scored his first goals following his two year loan spell away from the Club.

2s won 3-2 with goals coming from Membership Secretary @olliedowning and a double from the in form @joshgreiner_

3s won 4-0 following a Sean Gibson hat trick and a goal from Marcus Napa.

4s won 4-1 courtesy of goals from Abdul, Illy and a double from the imperious @mallerrob

5s won 4-1 with goals from super Ollie Bampo @olliebampton, @its_that_georgey_t, @matt_leyshon1 for his first goal for the Club as well as an OG.

Vets won 3-2 following goal from Ross Exley and a double from Manager Paddy Carton.

We thank @oldmeadoniansfc and wish them the best of luck for the season.

This marks the formal end of pre-season, although it will be a staggered start to the season, with some teams beginning next week and others in the weeks that follow. Due to the summer we have had, the pitches need some additional time to be match-ready.

The next big date in the Club’s diary is Saturday 26th September, when we will be welcoming the FA to King’s House. Make sure that date is marked in your diary if it isn’t already!

More details to follow… 👀
