NEW ERA - NEW LOOK

TJmov as a business is me, with my friends, going out, taking pictures and making stuff together. This is the core of what I do, it’s creative, it’s fun, it’s inspired and it’s with the people I love.

My old design served me well from 2018-2026 but it’s time to move on to something new inspired by the old.

Based on design styles of the 70s and early 80s, this new identity represents what I have always encapsulated in my work - which is to reference the past in a way that is to create something wholly new and exciting.

I’m looking forward to sharing many projects to come that will explore this philosophy and showcase all four quadrants of my work.

🏳️‍🌈 Hartlepool Pride with @curious_arts for @teessidepride 🏳️‍🌈
🗓️ 13th June 2026 🗓️

I don't really do reels especially when it's with still photos even though the algorithm would get me more reach. Also with so much going on in Hartlepool from Town Hall Theatre, Northern School of Art, Art Gallery and Church Square, I had to make a reel.

Here is a selection of photos of the acts that performed on the stage on this most brilliant day. Every artist was truly entertaining and amazing 🙌🏼

Biggest thanks to Curious Arts for inviting me to be part of the team. Such an honour and so much PRIDE to be amongst this amazing community and celebrate with you as a true ally 🏳️‍🌈

Next Friday, 14th of August I’m releasing an EP “The Human XXX-perience” containing 4 remixes from my album “The Defamation of a Snake” along with a Bonus Track that never made the album… the loose idea being to draw lines between different sounds that I’ve been influenced by and my own personal journey that led to the album🎵

Sweet (As Sex on the Beach) - a modern, beachy, deep dub of Sweet featuring @tigerlily_la 🌅 this one takes me back to my teenage years, those summers when deep house was everywhere, summer house parties every weekend, distant memories that don’t feel like this lifetime but that’s where my love of electronic music really took hold

Peaches (The Dominatrack) - as if Peaches wasn’t Clubby enough, this one really brings the 4 on the floor energy. This reminds me of the first time I saw HD play at a festival about 7 years ago. It was a packed out crowd and I felt the queer energy radiating from that dance floor. It was a moment that really got me thinking about who I was, what I was and what I wanted to make.

Grace (In the Darkroom) - I really wanted to capture the feeling of queer clubs with this one. A room full of people of all shapes, sizes and colours, getting sweaty and getting down - the way we’re supposed to with house music. From a sound design perspective I wanted it to sound like a white label record I had pulled out in the middle of a set that gets hips moving. @sophiela

Skin (Raw) - not much has changed on the production here other than it being much more stripped back vocally, more clubby. The original version is about queerness, sex and actually a lot about trans rights. I wanted to keep that message alive with something that follows on from the Grace remix, keeping the energy up and going even darker and even queerer💐

Lovin’ You (bonus track) - a demo that never was featuring some warped AF vocals from @tigerlily_la. The vocals were actually recorded for the intro track for the album but it didn’t end up fitting. I recorded To Judge a Serpent instead, but was left with those vocals. The instrumental was one of the first instrumentals I made for this album around 2021 and they work perfectly together�
