There were food trucks, vendors (I bought asters from @ladyfernfarm , flowers, a drink, and a bag from @moon_gate_garden , cards from @elsabellepaperco , and harvest baskets - I’m so sorry I can’t remember the name of the business but she was right by the goddess garden), and I watched @thistlecontainers teach container design.

@masshort put on a fabulous show. Something that really stood out to me that was different from almost every show I went to this year, was how lovely it was to be in an actual garden.

I can’t wait to go again! And thank you to the folks who introduced themselves who knew me from social media. You made my day. 🥰

Our Victorian style greenhouse has been sitting empty for a couple of months, but in just a few short weeks it will be filled with fall lettuces, and we can’t wait! 🥬

A big thank you to all that came out to our Heights farm stands throughout June and July! We loved seeing both new and familiar faces. We will be pausing our Heights market for now, but you can still find us every Saturday from 8-12 in front of @tinysno5 Stay tuned for market updates later this fall

The shades of our greenhouse protect the young lettuce seedlings from that Texas August heat. We start our first rounds in early August for an October harvest. Can’t wait for the fall!

A custom horticultural barn is the centerpiece of this Wayland project — a beautiful addition to an earlier whole home remodel. A collaboration with @hardwickpostandbeam

Flanking it, a @hartley_botanic glasshouse — hand-built in England and glazed to let the light do the work — extends the growing season and turns the garden into a year-round room.

Here is a peek at one of our recently completed projects. There are so many views and spaces in this garden to rest and enjoy the peaceful vistas or to watch magic unfolding in the plants. The coop and pastures are home to the happiest/luckiest chickens in CT! Thank you Tama and Brad for trusting us with your dream vegetable garden and for all the collaboration @tamara_meadow_interiors ! Thanks also to Robert Sherwood and Jeremy Johnson. Here’s to the many harvests to come!

Fall into LemonTree 🍂
As the summer light changes, so do our spaces. I’ve been nesting hard lately to reset areas of my home and look ahead to predict how I want this Autumn to play out. I’m looking forward to rainy days, baking, reading, styling and lots of Bergey cuddles on the wine couch. What are you looking forward to?

The sunpatiens have been the star of my garage deck garden this year 🩷

All of the pink flowers in these photos are either the Deep Rose or Rose Glow Sunpatiens and they have been absolutely covered in flowers the entire season.

These do like part to full sun, so along the back border I used Soprano and Rockapulco Impatiens that can handle the full shade that space gets under the pergola.

These have become some of my must have annual flowers in my garden because of how well they perform for me year after year with very little effort on my part 🌿

An intimate wedding in the Hartley Greenhouse.

There are endless corners of the Farm to explore and make your own. For this soft, intimate celebration, Rachel and Corey chose a space filled with light, life, and natural beauty.

Here’s to many years of growing together. Congratulations, Rachel and Corey. 🤍
