Weekly Recap 🤍
This week felt extra special as we celebrated America’s 250th birthday.🇺🇸

It reminded me just how much I have to be thankful for.

Freedom to celebrate America.
Freedom to worship.
Freedom to build businesses.
Freedom to get away.
Freedom to be together.

This week was filled with all five, and my heart is full. As always, I’d love to hear your highlights too!

The Highlights 🤍
This week was packed with some of my favorite things...

❤️ Dinner with dear friends at Primrose.

🎸 Watching Gabe serve on the worship team. Seeing him use gifts God gave him years ago, but hadn’t used in a long time, has been such a blessing. Even sweeter? Our kids have started asking him to teach them guitar. Watching them sit together playing music is one of those moments you wish you could bottle up forever.

🥾 We also took a completely spur-of-the-moment trip to Enchanted Rock. We stayed in the cutest 100+ year-old historic home and spent two full days hiking. One of my favorite moments was having a sunrise devotional together at the summit.

Everley took a pretty good fall right at the beginning of the first hike, but she got right back up and persevered through both days. I was so proud of her grit.

We wrapped up the week celebrating at Harvest Church’s Fourth of July party before ending the night with friends, fireworks, and lots of laughter.

Real Life, Unfiltered 😂
The road trip was a little messy - nothing is perfect…

We intentionally took the 4Runner instead of the bigger vehicle so all three kids had to sit shoulder-to-shoulder the entire drive. We thought it might build character - lol.
There was plenty of arguing, “Mom, they’re touching me!”, and negotiations over invisible seat lines. If you know, you know.

I had such a good time hosting the Harvest Church youth gals! What a precious crew of middle school and high school girls. 💛 Creamy Pesto Tortellini with Squash and Chicken Meatballs!

We laughed, we cried (over the onions!), and we got to make some memories together.

Jesus spent a lot of time gathering with others around the table, eating meals with them. In fact, He invites us to do the same! In Revelation 3:20, it says “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” 🥘

I would invite these girls back any day 👏🏼

The most important day in all of history and forever will be….Jesus kept His promise to rise from the dead so we can have a bridge to our Almighty God. Thank you Jesus.

What a gift from the Lord this first Sunday at Harvest Church!

We gathered as His people to worship the risen Christ, to hear His Word, and to enjoy fellowship together!

We look forward to gathering again this Lord’s Day as we celebrate our risen King on Easter Sunday.

If you’re looking for a church home in Bryan–College Station, we would love to have you join us at Cavalry Court in Century Square!

Another week, another recap 🤍

Coming off spring break with our crew and sweet friends, and whew… the re-entry is real. We had to say goodbye to my parents as they head back to Wisconsin after spending the winter here with us. They’ve been coming back and forth between our home and my brother’s in Houston since early December, and we are so incredibly grateful for that time.

There is just nothing like having Granny and Grandpa in the house—clean dishes, home-cooked meals, extra hands with school drop-offs, and all the quality time with the kids. We don’t take it for granted 🤍

We jumped right back into all the things…

Ella had a great track meet and placed 2nd in the varsity two-mile 👏
Easton… decided to cut open a baseball to see what’s inside (curiosity at its finest 😅) and ended up with a pretty tough finger injury, so we’re working through that.
Everly got to go to a lock-in at Central with her friends, which she loved.

We also hosted a wine class at Total Wine for some of our VIP clients and friends of BRG, and it was such a fun night. Highly recommend—Diane did an amazing job!

Work life right now is full, in the best way.

Since 2021 - My role has stretched far beyond just being a Realtor—CEO, CFO, team lead, operations, and overseeing our transaction arm of our business—and we are building something really special.

Jan 1st we officially launched Elevate & Co., where we serve agents across the country by elevating the transaction experience for both them and their clients—through transaction management, home prep, coaching and marketing. So excited about where this is headed.

We also kicked off construction on our new office 🙌
It’s starting to feel real, and I cannot wait to bring y’all along as it comes to life.

And probably the most meaningful update for our family…

Yesterday was bittersweet…my final Sunday at Central! This church has meant so much to our family, and we are deeply grateful for the ways God has used it to shape us.

Thank you @centralbcs and @pbethancourt for being a church that doesn’t just gather, but faithfully sends! What a gift to be part of a body that lives on mission.

Now we step forward in faith, trusting Christ’s promise that He will build His church.

If you’re looking for a church home, we’d love for you to join us at @harvestbcs, Sundays at 10:02 AM, a nod to Luke 10:2, the verse that inspired our name. We’d love to see you there!

Yesterday, we sent out Patrick McGinty, his family, and a core team from our church family to launch Harvest Church BCS. Will you join us in praying for their first service on March 29? We can’t wait to see what God does in and through Harvest Church!

I’m excited to share that God has called our family to plant Harvest Church (@harvestbcs) here in College Station!

Harvest Church exists to glorify God by making and multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Lord has faithfully led and provided, and we are trusting Him to build His church through the preaching of His Word and the power of the gospel.

Please pray for us as we prepare to launch on March 29th! Pray that Christ would be exalted and that many would come to know Him as Lord and Savior.

Soli Deo Gloria.
