Three things to watch for at your first rugby match 🏉

The Lineout — when the ball goes out of bounds, one player throws it back in perpendicularly. Both teams are allowed to lift a teammate into the air to compete for it.

The Scrum — when the ball goes forward accidentally, 8 players from each team lock together and try to push the other team over the ball. The most iconic image in rugby.

The Ruck — after a tackle, the tackler must roll away and release the ball. Both teams can then compete over it — creating an offside line similar to the line of scrimmage in football.

See you April 18th 👀
