Customers would ask for reasonable prices (which actually means cheap prices) from us, home bakers, who take all hygiene measures, use good quality raw materials and always bake fresh made to order bakery products but would never question any commercial bakery prices!

Many customers ask for “REASONABLE” prices when enquiring for a cake specially from a home baker but would happily pay off full prices at any commercial bakery. In short💀
We have witnessed incidents where the client would even bargain on a 1/5 kg custom cake with us. 🫠
When most of the commercial bakeries aren’t even ready to customise a 1/2 kg cake, people should be grateful to home bakers for taking small custom cake order but they react exactly the opposite😭

TELL HOW YOU GUYS FIND IT?🤷🏻‍♀️🤭
As a cake artist, i am always thrilled to get such orders👆🏻and i am always surprised to see how it turns out to be🥳
So, the girl with curly hair is my schoolmate and she has been supporting put business since our beginning🙏🏻
THANKS FOR THAT ANN DIDI❤️

Now i would like to type down some tips for my fellow cake artist/bakers!

•I am using fondant from @confectsugarpaste and it has been a pleasant experience! The fondant’s texture is always just PERFECT! Never too hard never too soft.

•I first complete all the light coloured fondant work and in the end i use dark coloured fondant, it reduces my time and efforts of changing colours again and again!

•Keeping room’s temperature moderate so my fondant doesn’t get watery or firm.

•Keeping knowledge of the working of various important tools.

The tips list would get longer and longer as i think of them🤣 i believe these were some major and important tips!

I hope i was helpful❤️ HAPPY BAKING🫶🏻
