Belief. United. Courageous. Heart. Legacy.

The words that remind of this team, and this season.

This season was more than wins & losses. It was belief. It was a group of young women deciding that limitations weren’t real and that together, they could build something special.

The 25-26 season will forever be one of those most meaningful seasons of my life.

We had a line up of 80% freshman, and a few sophomores. One of the youngest teams in the country with no heavyweight in the line up all year. Whatever we lacked in experience or size, we made up for with heart, toughness and belief in each other. And because of this belief, this team accomplished great things:

15-2 dual meet record
Regional Conference Team Champions
Coach of the Year
5 NCAA Qualifiers (4 Champions)

And on the biggest stage of them all…
National Champion- Audrey Jimenez, the first to ever do it at Lehigh University. Written in the history books.
3rd Place finish by Aubre Krazer and 7th place finish for Abbi Cooper. Also etched in the history books as they go down as the first ever NCAA All Americans for Lehigh.
Cece & Genevieve battled with all they had at the NCAA’s, tough competitors, tough women, their time is coming!

But this program is bigger than medals, bigger than rankings.
This team was built by people who poured their heart into something they believed in.

To my Assistant Coaches @g_rea1 & @bdogpizano leaders who showed up every day ready to serve this team with humility and chase greatness together. Late nights. Lots of film. Lots of 1:1’s. Lots of meetings. All worth it.

Our AT @shelbyhoppis who worked tirelessly to keep our athletes healthy, safe, and ready to the best of their ability. Doctors appt’s made within minutes, always advocating for the women, and always ready to start and stop the blood time ;)

Our strength performance coach @dcarlineo , who built the engine behind these women. Forever grateful for a man like you leading these women to be strong.

And our Nutritionist, @erinsparrold who helped fuel the performances of these athletes that allowed them to accomplish such great things at the highest of levels.

Thank you team. It takes a village.
