BNI Destiny may be an online networking chapter, but networking shouldn’t always happen behind a screen.

This time, we got together for a BBQ 🍗 good food, great conversations, and the chance to connect with the people behind the businesses we see every week online.

Because there’s something different about sitting around a table (or standing around a BBQ ), sharing a meal, and having real conversations with potential referral partners.

Our members are business owners and professionals from different industries, connected by one goal: building meaningful relationships that lead to business and referrals.

And that’s what we love about BNI Destiny. Yes, we meet online every week, but we also make time to connect in person, have some fun, and strengthen the relationships behind the referrals.

Looking for a business networking group in Vancouver where you can build your network, meet other professionals, and grow through referrals?

Come see what BNI Destiny is about.

A room full of women. A little networking workshop. And a whole lot of meaningful conversations. 🪄

I was so grateful to be invited by @workablewoman.ca to speak about OUR Network and lead a workshop on how to actually make the most out of networking.

But honestly, the best part wasn’t standing at the front of the room. It was everything that happened around it.

I met so many incredible, inspiring women who are building businesses, chasing big ideas, making moves and figuring it all out along the way. I got to hear their stories, make new connections, share what we’re building with OUR, and grow our waitlist with women who believe networking can be so much more than exchanging business cards.

Workable Women has created something really special. A space where women can show up as they are, connect genuinely, support one another and leave with new relationships and new possibilities.

That is exactly why I’m building OUR.

Because you never know who you’re going to meet, what conversation might change something for you, or where one introduction could lead.

Thank you to Workable Women and @quynhie.nguyen @jessicaraesparkles for inviting me into the room and giving me the opportunity to share something I care so deeply about.

Here’s to putting yourself in the room. Starting the conversation. And seeing where it takes you. ✨

And a special thank you to my supportive friend @erinpriceemery for joining and filming for me.

Don’t worry about how many people you meet. Focus on the relationships you build. Your network grows one genuine conversation at a time. 🪄

THIS IS A GRATITUDE POST SO PLEASE READ
@theplaceswewillremember was always personal

A place for me to share what I do with my family, to share information that I think others would find useful, to be real and authentic and as connected (as you can be online)

Part of 52 first dates was to get offline and meet people in person. To explore the city, to connect and hopefully make new friends

And what was planted was seeds of community. People who believed in @theplaceswewillremember and that @theplaceswewillremember believed in

And this was that celebration
Of friendship
Of connection
Of belonging
Of parenthood

This wouldn’t have happened without you.
Followers who trust what I have to share
Parents who have been cheerleaders since the first day
Businesses who have put their faith in this community
Volunteers who made this possible

I don’t have the capacity to run these regularly but maybe for wrap up of the next series (which is long overdue)

So thank you!
