A very Cornish day at the office! Was lovely to see the Young Farmers tractor parade today in Falmouth from @havencoffeebox (footage is sped up they weren’t going this fast!)

We’re very thankful to call Cornwall home and to get to roast, sell and serve speciality coffee here 🤍 🚜

A long black by the sea with our Cornerstone Brazilian espresso.

Chocolatey, tonnes of caramel, and lovely subtle berry notes make this coffee an amazing crowd pleaser! Tastes just as good black as when blended into milk drinks.

Cornwall will always be one of my favourite trips 🐚rugged & crystal coastlines, artsy towns, cosy cafes, serene trails & a touch of ancient magic ✨ it also just felt relaxed you know, in sync with the tide, not forcing a heavy itin but gently letting places find you. Sometimes the best wonders are really just found on your doorstep, or at least somewhere between the Atlantic Ocean & English Channel 🌊

>> Here’s how we spent a week on the South West British Coast 🩵 and some other fave spots not pictured:-
📖 @beerwolf_books 🍻
🐟 @harbourlightsfalmouth - vegan options bang 🤤

Also highly recommend arriving in St Ives early over summer to avoid the absolute parking mare we had, I was very close to abandoning my car that I love very much 🚗 besides that, Cornwall, yes, very gorg & laid back 🫶🏾

Found our new favourite little stop for the staycay ☕🌊

@havencoffeebox tucked just round from Pendennis Point, and they roast their own beans.

You sit looking straight out over the coast and it is gorgeous.

I had the iced matcha 🍵 and Josh got the raspberry lemonade raspberry lemonade.

Grab a drink, bag one of the picnic benches and just settle in for a bit. Honestly ideal for a lazy afternoon or a picnic.

Just around the corner from Pendennis Point, last week we stumbled across a fantastic little coffee wagon. The friendly barista told us it’s a family-run business that even roasts its own coffee – and wow, it was so good! ☕️ @revelationroastersuk

With the weather being so lovely, I opted for an iced latte, while my son chose a passion fruit & elderflower spritz. Safe to say it was a huge hit – “best ever!” according to him. 😊

We found a seat to perch on and soak up the stunning views over Gyllyngvase and Castle Beach, with Pendennis Castle in the distance 🏰

As an added bonus, there’s even a rope swing across the road to keep the kids (and child-like adults!) entertained. I may or may not have had a go myself… 😂

📍Haven – or Heaven, as it feels! Castle Drive, Falmouth

Would you choose this empty seat, this view, and a drink in hand?

Open daily, 10am–4pm.

I have spent a lot of time diving around Cornwall and these are 3 of my favourite beginner friendly dive spots 🌊🐠

A few even have facilities nearby like toilets and cafés, which always makes the day easier 🙌

I’ll be sharing more details on each site soon - depths, marine life you can spot, conditions, and more… so stay tuned 👀

Have you dived at any of these spots before?
Save this post for your next Cornwall dive trip!

a few recent eats i’ve been loving around falmouth🍴

the places i always seem to end up back at… good food, good views, and never a bad choice

chachacha’s - the tequila shrimp tacos are my go to every single time, and sitting outside in a sunny day just makes it even better

kernow wine - charcuterie, good wine and sunshine… very euro summer energy, plus so many wines to choose from

zest - light, fresh and always good, the turkish eggs are unreal… also not pictured but the breakfast baps and french toast never miss

budock vean - afternoon tea done properly, warm scones, great cakes and a walk through the gardens down to the river after

pizzeria 42 - so good we didn’t even get a proper food pic… tucked away in penryn but always worth it

haven - not food but had to include, this matcha tasted like a mr whippy with raspberry sauce and the views over gylly are unreal (also their cakes are so tasty)

always open to more recommendations 👀
