Praise be to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This last year I had the opportunity to experience YWAM Kona DTS, it was the most growing experience feeling and seeing Jesus move in ways impossible to a logical mind, like supernatural healings. His love is the only thing that can satisfy the god shape hole in our heart, I was trying to fill this with the things of this world which lead to instant gratification followed by the feeling of emptiness or anxiety. We get stuck in chasing the gratification of the world and become reliant on these things. But, I have good news and it is that Jesus can set you free from your chains and give you external joy and peace that surpass one's understanding. If this post stirs up something in your heart Jesus is calling you back, please reach out I would love to guide you towards Jesus.

September...
You creaked the door open. I wanted it locked but you swayed your head in disagreement and decided to paint the month with a shade of hope. You made your way into the room with timidity and a slight knowing grin.
September...
You sat me in spaces. Spaces that collected tears, some my own and many many others. You wrote down their stories and stamped them with your date.
September...
you knew the timing was perfect. The last remnants of summer, a season that left my womb empty while the ivy never quit growing up the trees... life teeming everywhere. You knew I would need the redemption of this month.
September...
I did it. I met with a friend when I wanted to hide. I sang when my voice croaked again and again. I looked in the mirror and embraced the beauty. I heard my daughters nudge again and again "mom, do this for you." And I listened.

Because you walked in the door, with paint splattered hope and your story filled tables and your snuggles with friends.
September, thank you.

Over the months I will share so much about all the amazing kids, families, and teachers at camp that we love. But I really want to first take time to say how thankful I am for my family. The hours upon hours they spent painting, cleaning, cutting and stuffing name tags, helping make designs, late night dance choreography, Walmart and hobby lobby runs, planning lessons and so so so much more that goes unseen.

Years and years ago God shared a dream with us. But we knew we wanted to do it TOGETHER... that it's just the most fun when we combine all our personalities and gifts into one beautiful confetti cannon that showers people with love.

Week one is done. And we just spent the last hour in the kitchen together sharing our favorite stories. Goodness, I hope you know that the seven of us REALLY love doing this! We really love YOU!

This past year...
I said goodbye
and watched you adventure around the world
I cried the hardest I've ever cried
And watched you battle sickness
when there was nothing I could do...
But that didn't stop you
From adventuring even more
And making friends ALL OVER THE WORLD.
And I'm not surprised
Because you love deep... you laugh big
You believe in people
You fight for friendship
You serve selflessly.
And I get to cheer you on
Because I was given the greatest gift
To know you first
To hold you longest
To love you deepest
Happy birthday my beautiful beautiful havie g

This is what staff culture looks like at Eagles Nest Ranch. 🕺💃

Perfect video quality? Nah. Perfect energy? 100%.

Our staff does not just lead camp — they LIVE it. They dance. They laugh. They celebrate together. They show up with their whole hearts every single day. And THAT is what makes all the difference. 💛

This is the culture your kids experience all summer long. These are the adults pouring into them. These are the people creating memories that last forever. 🙌

To our staff — you are everything. Your energy is contagious. Your heart is real. And the impact you have is immeasurable. Thank you for being exactly who these kids need. 🦅✨
