To my first class at USC Kaufman: thank you for letting me aggressively overshare all my favorite things with you this semester. Dance films, weird references, computational art, headless people… honestly you all really trusted me. And in return, you made work that was vulnerable, strange, funny, emotional, and so moving. Thank you for allowing me into your practice ❤️

we watched, and the children waited
by me, performed with @hayden.mucha

from program:
Beyond borders and headlines, countless children inherit hunger as aid is halted and borders close. This piece is a small act of witness, a reminder of what it means to look, to feel, and not turn away. May it serve as a call to conscience—an urging to recognize our shared responsibility as those who were once children on this earth.

Inviting and encouraging continued generousity and support through donations to organizations such as UNICEF and the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, which work to combat child hunger, displacement, and the loss of access to basic human needs.

my soph launch piece this yearrrr. thank you to my beautiful cast who fulfilled all of my dreams and expectations and more. i love you all so much and this piece wouldn’t be what it is without any of you.

i gave my cast the idea of being in a silent room with no one but yourself and the voices in your head. but what if we let those voices in and let them take over our bodies and control our actions? what does sound like/look like to characterize and humanize the voices in your head?
