As I turn 27 today and reflect on life thus far and looking toward my very near 30's (😭), I wanted to compose a small list of things I've learned so far:

27 things I've learned at 27
1. Lean on Jesus when things get hard
2. It's okay to start over, at any age
3. It's okay to go at a different pace than those around you/your peers
4. Pour into friendships that pour into you
5. Not everyone is your friend, but everyone is your neighbor. Love them even so
6. Forgive, but don't forget
7. Believe someone when they show you who they are. Don't make them show you over and over and over again
8. It's okay to feel behind in life, not everyone has the same path and timing
9. Give yourself GRACE
10. Make mistakes, they're vital for growth
11. Remember that you aren't perfect, no one is
12. Find one thing to spoil yourself with (hair, nails, lashes) if it "fills your cup" and makes you feel good
13. You don't have to fight every battle, in fact, be very selective of which battles you pick. You'll be a happier person for it
14. It's okay to embrace femininity and not be so "hard" all the time
15. Do the crazy thing. Do the hard thing. Do the fun thing.
16. Go. To. The. Gym. Consistently. Your older self will thank you
17. Eat clean...er than normal, you'll feel better
18. Go to church weekly, it truly is such a good reset and fills my cup every Sunday
19. Be grateful, do daily gratitudes
20. Be KIND to others, especially strangers
21. Smile often
22. But also cry. Cry when you're happy, cry when you're sad, cry while laughing, it's good for the soul.
23. Embrace your style, even if it feels funky
24. It's okay to outgrow people and it's also okay if they outgrow you!
25. Learn. Keep learning and keep having the yearning for knowledge
26. The phone works both ways in any and all relationships in life
27. Regret is louder than fear, take that next step

A lot of these are things I wish I could've been able to tell 18 year old me, but hey, everything we've gone through has put us where we are and made us who we are. (We as in yall reading this, not my multiple personalities😂)

Have a blessed day 💖
