Unlimited Week 3 Update & Conditions Report: Cagi Bangiwalu 🤙🌬️In Fijian, this means when the trade winds blow for 8 days straight and that’s exactly what we had all week long. Wind sports crew? Living the dream. Surfers? Let’s just say they were praying for glass…

But it didn’t stop us one bit. This has been one of the most epic family Unlimited Weeks we’ve ever had!

The kids did it all! Storm surfing, fishing, snorkelling, island hops, DJ parties, winging, foiling, kiting, spearfishing, diving, snake hunting, party waves, crab races, skurfing, beach Olympics… you name it.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the wind backed off for a couple of mornings and gave us perfect little windows to score some of the best small waves of the trip.

Family Weeks are always a favourite — watching the groms go wild in the ocean, soaking up every moment. But what truly makes it special is our incredible Fijian staff who take such amazing care of the kids, creating memories they’ll never forget. And of course, our legendary coaches keeping them safe and smiling in the water every single day.

And that’s a wrap to the first week of the #PLkiteclinics at @puntaluna.surf.lodge in Northern Peru 🇵🇪. Guest got not one, but two swells in a one week period and wind every day! Kite sizes ranged from 6m-9m on most days with a consist head high - 2ft over head swell.

Sad to see this group leave but with a fresh swell and a new frothy group arriving, there will be no waves going unridden this next trip.

The first two days of the 2024 #PLkiteclinic started off with a bang. Filled with 20-25knt winds and head to head and a half high waves kept everyone on the water for the majority of the day.

Lessons for the first two days included, basics of positioning on surfboards, identifying and catching swells, right of ways, and how to fly your kite in the surf. The last one is a massive talking point and one that we refer back to daily as it’s the most important part of wave riding.

No shortage of wind and waves for the rest of the week. Stay tuned for more updates.
