POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been two weeks since we premiered @notquitetheatreco’s ‘Never Said I Was a Genius’ as part of the @lambethfringe and I’m still just so grateful to this amazing team of artists for bringing this project to life and to everyone who came out to @centralfilmschool to check out this wild new show!

I’m also especially grateful to the TWO amazing photographers who managed to capture these stunning production photos — @sigita.safronova and @kitmccarthyphoto

I’m so proud of this show and I hope we get to present it again someday. And I’m just so thrilled to be making weird experimental work again. Can’t wait to start on the next one!

We are so grateful to everyone who made their way out to @centralfilmschool last week to see our ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ production of ‘Never Said I Was a Genius’ as part of the @lambethfringe!

It’s been such an incredible journey bringing this show to life over the past year. And we’re just so thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive response to our strange and complex experiment.

We’re already starting to cook up the next project, so stay tuned for updates. But in the meantime, enjoy some more productions photos by the wonderful @sigita.safronova!

One final sneak peek into the rehearsal room for ‘Never Said I Was a Genius’ before we perform THIS WEEK on the 8th & 9th October at @centralfilmschool as part of the @lambethfringe!

Is there such a thing as an artistic genius? Or is genius merely a myth that enables monstrous acts to occur? NQT co. presents a new theatrical meditation that examines how the horrific acts of the genius have been culturally justified by the systems that have elevated them, created by a gaggle of geniuses competing to make this very play.

I’ve had the best time making this show over the past year with this insanely talented and joyous team of artists! @notquitetheatreco’s ‘Never Said I Was a Genius’ performs this Thursday the 8th and Friday the 9th at @centralfilmschool as part of the @lambethfringe. This is by far the most complex and sticky and ‘experimental’ work I’ve ever made, and I’m just so excited to see how audiences react. If you’re in London, come check it out and join us for a pint afterwards.
