I’d say the biggest blessing of 2025 was the unexpected return of JB and that’s all I’ll say on the matter. See you soon 2026! 🫶

That’s a wrap on VBS 2024!! We had a great week learning all about what a great friend Jesus is to us, that He loves us so much more than anyone else in the world can, and forgives all our sins. We’re grateful for all these families and kids who were able to join us this year and can’t wait for next year! #stjameskidsrock #missionsaintjames #anglicanchurchplant

M A Y was so full and lovely!! From #benjiells having On the Nines with his class (he invited Sammy, who ironically, had to dress up as wisdom that day), to #dillyt singing in chorus and finding out he loves to sing bass, to #bamminsam being in Twelfth Night, to friends being the best ever, and bringing back Sunday JAM for Cinco JAMayo, to Ellis falling in love with Ms. Frisbee and her rats, and of course the northern lights and #msolivefaith just being herself. Love this sweet life we’ve been given. #lifeonhighland #williamstakejackson #williamsfam

Those who have known me a long time know that #HallieParker has been my muse since I was a child, so you know I lost my actual mind when @bethwelborn wanted to put together a #ParentTrap party for her bday 🥳 Everyone killed it on the costumes, and I’m pretty proud of the details we included:
🛥️ Queen Elizabeth II boat photo op
🏕️ Camp Walden turned Camp Welborn
🥂 Parker Knoll Chardonnay
🐰 Cuppy
🎶 Best soundtrack of all time
🇬🇧 Some English charm
🆘 The Sammy 911 fax
🃏 Poker and the pot
🦎 Meredith’s Evian water and gecko
🥣 Chessy’s famous chili and cornbread
🥜 Hallie and Annie’s beloved Oreos and peanut butter

So glad for a chance to party with the best! #parenttrapparty #parenttrapbirthday #parenttrapbachelorette #disneyparty #disneyathome

April was good to us! From the beach to good food, strawberries and field trips, soccer and playing salon with friends. It was busy, but totally worth it. #williamsfam #williamstakejackson #lifeonhighland #msolivefaith #benjiells #bamminsam

”But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. They said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.” Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher).“
‭‭John‬ ‭20‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬
Today, I’m so thankful that Jesus knows our names, just like He knew Mary’s. I’m so grateful that He isn’t in the tomb, but He has risen! I’m thankful that He has defeated sin and death once and for all.

This past week, with the first Sunday of lent, our children “buried the alleluias” with the anticipation of bringing them back at the great Easter vigil. Kent isn’t just a season for adults to give up chocolate, social media, or alcohol. There’s a steadiness and rhythm to Lent that allows anyone, any age, to participate, as we take things away (even the alleluias) to focus on Christ and his love for us.

Join us on Sundays during this Lenten season…4:00pm, 863 W Forest Ave, 38301. #churchplant #anglicanchurchplant #missionsaintjames
